LOL...no..... I was responding to the prior poster's comment "I just pray that when I die, my wife will get what the items are worth, and not what I told her I paid for them"....
-
Chibi Minmay....is that the one that came in the set with Sara and Ishtar?...I think I have those....I'll snap some pics when I get a chance....will try and dig out the Makurosu too...

Forget the wifey....dude got shot in front his goofy kid! Whose yo' daddy now! Plus I think he did kill him....it just made it all the more ironic as Morgan walked into the scene having finally found his buddy....just not as the righteous man he remembers.... Oh and I hope that wolf pack isn't just those 2 dorks....they stand no chance! Not that a heavily armed group would....afterall Carol said their group with just knives could take on an the entire armed Alexandria camp!!!

So just got done with all of the season episodes.... Was relieved that they did not take the easy way out and hemorrhage more characters....although there is no way they can't next season.... They new "bad guys" are pretty lame.... Morgan is cool....but didn't they just kill off another black dude with a positive outlook on life and people? Oh but Morgan speaks softly and carries a big stick and not a hammer! Glenn is too nice....something tells me he should have killed that a-hole....

No one can do eyes like Mikimoto.... Actually, I am considering a commission for an Ishtar from an artist brought to my attention by DarrinG.....just trying to figure out if I want to start with Ishtar or an SDFM character....

BTW.... The valks and the Hikaru/Rick come assembled.....the Tomahawk and Regult need to be put together.....helped keep all the boxes the same size I guess.... Hopefully the Ori Toy valks are not being delivered by the same shipping company used for the vinyl Glaug! So as far as Toynami goes..."Coming Soon" means nothing.....

Everything is pre-built/painted and available online or on ebay.....the HobbyMaster items are the only ones that are discontinued, so they are a bit tougher to find....most is 1/72 scale.... Some of the companies to look for are HobbyMaster and HHow Toys for the ground crews and vehicles.....Kotobukiya and Wave for the hangars....the only "custom' items are the tow tractor/driver and gunpod lift (and some of the ground crew figurines)....these were designed and produced by MW member EXO.... For a long time there was really nothing pre-built available...but that seems to be slowly changing....there are also some really cool "printed" flight deck dioramas on ebay but I have not purchased any to provide an opinion on them....they look nice though... http://stores.ebay.com/coastal-kits?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

Thanks David! BTW...I also picked up a couple of ground crew sets from HHow Toys.....they interested me because they were made of pewter, however, the bad part is they seem to come without bases....which translates to having to probably glue them in place or having to create your own small bases for them to "stay upright"..... Here they are....paint apps are OK, but the Rabbit Club figs look way more detailed....leaving them in their packaging for now....

That would be great and I'd also buy one....I bought the one made by HobbyMaster.....it's 1/72 but still scales well....

Found some new pre-built diorama figures and vehicles.......... For anyone looking to create a quick diorama without the need to build and paint kits.....I recommend the HHow Toy carrier deck vehicles and the Rabbit Club ground crew figurine sets.... Rabbit Club flight deck crew...2 different sets: HHow Toys tow vehicle and fire engine truck....."Morden" Also picked up this Matchbox forklift.....think it is 1/64.....it also scales very well with the Yamato/Arcadia/Bandai valkyries..... ....and here they are added into my existing hangar diorama.....

Mad Max is to the Road Warrior what Evil Dead is to Evil Dead II.....same movie just done better....(well, except for the Interceptor from the original Mad Max....a more bad ass car has never existed on the big screen).....

Not bad...solid little statuettes....perfect for displaying and not having to worry about them getting damaged.....would go well with the Makurosu....will need to dig mine out and take some pics with it later....
-
I've only opened one figure box so far...it was the Regult...pretty much a static figurine with zero posability...I only bought them to display with the 3P Makurosu...I'll post more pic when I get a chance....
-
Anyone else get these?
-
Hey Fortress...I'd like to someday...but I only have time to take some quick pics with my cell phone at the moment...most of the stuff on rubberslug seems to be nicely scanned.....at this point it would take me a long time to scan my collection.....

I think perhaps some Mad Max fans see this latest installment as so over the top that it is more comic book "like" than Mad Max "like"........but under the current movie competition...this needs to be exponentially over the top...otherwise it would just be just another "Fast and Furious" movie set in the apocalyptic wastelands......the Mad Max franchise is nothing if not the ultimate car stunt spectacle.........if it can't reduce the stunts seen in Fast and Furious to "Sunday driving"....then what's the point? Mad Max movies set the bar on car chases/stunts.....I think this latest release seeks to reclaim that status....
