    Maybe Unix Square tried to develop a proper PT VF-1.....but failed and thought no one would notice....

    More of a "why do I keep paying for D+?" ending...lol They should have shown Space Jack Sparrow being carted off in handcuffs by the New Republic....it's not like a man of his ingenuity would not have been able to escape at some point if a Season 2 required it...instead, his fate will be another avoidable mystery in the ever shrinking SW Galaxy...seriously, another morally vague Force user running around....surely Luke and Leia would want to meet this potential problem, which alone, is why he should not have been a Force user....it just complicates the logic of the post-ROTJ timeline....and again, comes back to tying back to the Skywalker Saga....an itch that Disney can't help but scratch...

    LOL....yeah...this is forced nostalgia....I assume this mash-up is intended for Japanese consumers....although I can see a WWM release but I think the impact to non-Japanese collectors would be minimal....

    Heck....there's still a ton of parts-forming required so it still doesn't meet your first criteria.... At 1/144 I'd be OK with the parts-forming....but it would also need to be under 100usd for a complete set of all three modes plus the FPs to meet your second criteria....at that pricepoint I could rationalize to myself their purchase so they could join my 1/144 Doyushas and Takatoku Toys sets....

    Just think of it as some ultra-weird, ultra-rare and gloriously fugly VF-19 Kai bootleg from the mid-90's....then you will be all over it!

    The white necks seem off to me....they should be blue for Max and Red for Millia, no? That's how TZ had it on their prototypes....

    Ok, at 1/72 I'm out....at this point in the VF-1 evolutionary journey....I personally cannot justify or have a reason to purchase a non-transforming VF-1 toy....maybe if it's 20 bucks plus shipping....lol

    They look fairly decent....depending on scale and price I may pick up a set just to have something to fiddle with.... 1\144 scale would be nice, but probably 1\100... I like this pose....

    Perhaps I just haven't pulled out these VF-1J HCMs for a long while, but I'm not sure if I ever paid attention to the yellowing on the Millia VF-1J's legs....Bandai was setting expectations pre-release!
