No te entiendo....

I had forgotten all about the 1/100 GBP Toynami announced a while back...he sculpted that one too, no? What a waste of talent. Idiots! This release pretty much makes the Toynami pointless...

Bandai is pretty clever....or pure evil genius... They know that scores of Macross collectors are neck deep in the entire SDF Macross TV line from Yamato....in 1/60...... It would be tough to drop that line and go to a V3 (or DX?...yet)..........so they go balls out with a pretty complete line in 1/100....much cheaper and much easier to rationalize the double dip..... I have to admit...without the inclusion of the Destroids and Zentran mechs...this would be much easier to pass..... Way to go Bandai! Now all we need is this....do it!!!!! Take our money!!!!!
-
So unless Bandai is totally trolling us....they are hell-bent on bringing us a pretty decent 1/100 set of the most important SDFM mechas.... VF-1 Fab Five (VF-1S Roy, VF-1J Hikaru, MAx & Milia VF-1Js, and the VF-1A Standard Type) Potentially all of the Destroids - ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Regult (and how easy would it be for them to sell websclusive weapons packs and a Scout Regult?) The Glaug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bandai is making collecting Macross Toys fun again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Don't forget the blue Phalanx variant!
-
Not nearly enough exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
There hasn't been a Glaug toy since.....well....this... All we need now is the addition of the Tomahawk, Defender, and Phalanx....it's good to be a Macross Fan!

Not sure....if their past releases are any indication....they could announce a date tomorrow and easily break it 3 times over before it actually hits the shelves...

Was wondering who would be the first to try those out...they look nice...Now you need to populate them... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41631&p=1187052

Thank you for your responses! I am trying to find out if anyone during 1984-1987 could recall seeing a very unusual, probably "one of a kind" Takatoku Macross toy in one of the stores selling Japanese toys in Lima, Peru. This toy was not a toy that was released for sale to anyone, it would have been a store display or perhaps a promotional item. If you had seen this, you would know it was not a regular Takatoku toy that anyone could have bought. Because I have only been told about this alleged toy by one person, I do not want to say what it is, in hopes that someone else can identify the same toy to me...which would help make it more possible for it to be true. For now, it may just be a case of someone thinking they saw it, a cloudy childhood memory!

Are there any fans here who were living in, close to, traveled to Lima, Peru around 1984-1987? If so, were there any Japanese toy shops in Lima's "chinatown" during this time? I am trying to get more first-hand accounts about a certain Takatoku toy that may be either real or just "childhood fantasy"... If anyone recalls Japanese toy stores from Lima, Peru and more importantly remembers this special Takatoku toy (if you do then you will know what I am referring to, there would be no way to miss it)....please PM me with what you remember about this specific toy....Spanish or English PM is OK!

There hasn't been one Arcadia release were they did not decide to "tinker" with the colors, hues, etc.....sure Yamato had it's QC issues, but their color choices were for the most part spot on, or at minimum, not so obviously wrong....
-
Yep...and keep the missile doors closed too!
-
The pilot looks painted in DYRL style...VF-1J was under the armor in the movie....with that said....missile tips should be yellow... ***edit OK...looking at it on a bigger screen now...yeah...DYRL helmet painted in TV style...but body painted to look DYRL with the yellow shoulder pads???.... They should have just went all-out DYRL and painted the missile tips yellow and be done with it.... This just means they will still not bother with the doing proper TV style Max and Millia -1Js...TV pilots, armor, etc.....no biggie I guess...I'm more interested in the Regults and Destroids anyways!
-
VF-0 was designed 20 years after the VF-1?
-
If that is the case....and since you have to swap the missile bits....it would have been better to have supplied yellow-tipped missiles instead of the "empty" missile bay bits....those seem to me a waste of plastic....
