On average, someone can place a winning final bid on YJA and have it shipped to their doorstep for about 200 USD after all fees are factored into the purchase.

The only two officially licensed Takatoku Toys releases (AFAIK) are the Hikaru and Max. I have never seen any other variants from this 1/76 scale collection in ads, catalogs, magazines, etc. I normally do not collect bootlegs, however, for these 1/76 scale GBP sets, the only one I have encountered is the one you have detailed. I have not seen any other variants.

Or how about just utilizing magnets between the arms and legs? Isn't that ET's "thing"? Magnets would have also helped keep the main top part of the SAP attached to the lower part when in fighter mode...

The biggest flaw (not including the transformation process) was the lack of a strong connection between the arm and legs...ET completely ignored the problem and made it worse with the mounting of the armor as they removed what little connection points existed....no idea what they were thinking.....it would have been an easy fix by adding a thicker tab to the arm armor pieces and a slot to the leg armor.....line art accuracy be damned....it wasn't winning any awards in that category to begin with....

The only thing an HMR Monster fears is an HMR YF-19 with one of these.....

I'd still buy....would look good next to the 1/60-ish line....of course, it would take up much of your 1/60-ish line display space.....but that's not important!

Anyone have the Faerie and Nexx? If so, is the Nexx any "better" in terms of "quality".....don't laugh! Or how about compared to the Silvie? I opted to wait for the Nexx to go on clearance......I'm guessing in a few months or by Black Friday for sure.....

I think anyone who is at this stage of the VF-2SS experience (nightmare?) is in it because they have accepted its limitations and is satisfied with it's "looks" and not necessarily its build quality. In short, it is a piece that you pick a mode, your favorite mode, and display it with the understanding to never...ever....make the mistake of transforming it again....I agree with you...it will not stand the test of time....IF you keep fiddling with it.....what concerns me more is that it will turn into a yellowed mess within a few years or less.... On the Faerie I received....on of the shoulder locking tabs is already yellowed.....so I do not have high hopes for the rest of the plastic....

They used the savings to go into improving the overall fit and quality of the VF-2SS......oh wait.....they just added clicks to the arm armor! Gabriel is correct. Guess they just assumed the only collectors crazy enough to buy a Faerie or Nexx after all the bad reviews for the Silvie....already had the Silvie, so no instructions required!
