You probably have all the older Model Graphix where the pics in this book come from.... The book basically collects all the Macross kit builds showcased on Model Graphix throughout the years.... Here is a sampling.... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/29133-macross-books/?do=findComment&comment=1341164

Welcome to the Macross Cel, Genga, and Douga Club! ....there are, however, some initiation rituals.....

Awwwww....ok...here are some pics then... Not sure if I remembered to take some pics of the 1/48 kits...but enjoy these anyway....no idea if it will show up at HLJ....these books usually do..... Imagine what Bandai could do with the 1/35th Anniversary VF-1! Amazing what the modeler did with the Bandai 1/72 variable kit! Still think the head on this kit is too big..... OK.....more later

That wasn't a "no" No3Ljm.....david is just waiting for the Yamato market to go down the toilet so he could sell it to you at Yamato clearance prices!

Wonder how many bidders actually thought they had a shot a buying the suit and getting the valk for "free" (or close to it)! Must be frustrating if you really want that "suit" and knowing you won't get it for less than 400 bucks!

The "White Base" looks good with HMR.....just the right height..... The chain base modules are too short when not stacked on top of each other.....and too tall when they are....I was thinking of going HMR with my chain base pieces....but after seeing them on display with them, I'll need to either get some "white bases", some "Macross Factory" kits, or stick to 1/60 on them.... Best thing would be for some Macross specific hangars...either official or 3P stuff would work.....would be an easy project for the 3D folks on the board I think.....

I think shill bidding is also a big problem on YJA. I see many items relisted after being "sold"....

It's eBay.....it ain't over till you get paid!

It basically gathers together years worth of kits builds that have been showcased on Model Graphics. Everything from the latest Macross Delta builds to a Macross Factory build to the Thunder Hummers and many many more.....if you don't buy the magazines but like oogling masterfully created Macross kits....then I would say it is worth picking up.

Not sure if this page from the MF -31 book specifically refers to how they are stored....but it would seem the wings fold? Although I have the Bandai toys...I have yet to remove them from their boxes....can the toy wings do this wing folding move?

Just ask for pics of the actual toy where they are saying discoloration exists.....honestly, for the price they are asking it is probably better to wait for one that is free of any yellowing....

In my experience, once an item moves into that "long sold out" status....the difference for what you can expect to get for it, whether it is MISB vs Opened/Displayed, is pretty negligible. Maybe at most $50 for "super mint". But you will be searching much longer for the customer demanding that condition type than someone who is OK with Opened/Displayed/Complete.....As a seller, if you bought it at MSRP or less.....A $50 premium for keeping your items pristine is hardly worth the trouble of not enjoying them temporarily while they were still part of your collection (unless you had multiples and had the space to store them).....when all is said and done...when an item is selling at most for $400 in any decent condition (other than broke/loose) in the open market , no one is going to buy it from you at your $700 asking price.....
