The only drawback for buyee is the inability to combine auctions from the same seller purchased on the same day...not sure if that is something offered by other proxy services, I know Rinkya does, but then again, the potential savings are wiped out by their higher fees... Also, Buyee recently shortened their storage time from 60 days to just 30.....so that eliminated some savings potential from combining items into one shipment....

The Spartan and Defender seem to be a bit taller than they should be in scale to the VF-1. Or maybe those guys just have small hands? They should be shorter than the VF-1 in battroid... Guess we'll find out soon enough....

I do not use mine in offline mode....not sure if that is controlling the storage of the translated japanese text

When I snap a pic....it not only translates it....but also converts the image into the japanese text and stores it...maybe check your settings

If you find something better that can use the phone's camera to translate text...let us know! Oh, and I had to look up what you meant by "Backstroke of the West"...lol

Cool...if you do not have the others sometimes they are available (used) on Mandarake at less than the original cover price....plus if you bundle up on them you can always save on shipping regardless of where you buy them from....for best shipping to the US, I go with Amazon.jp.

When the Makurosu came out.....I was hoping it would kickstart a wave of other 3rd party releases.....instead, we got the sheety SD VF-1's that no one wanted except HG.....sadly, that failure (starting and continuing with SD versions) has lead to what may have been interpreted by the 3P shops in China as a lack of intetest in original Macross releases......so here we are instead at the new age of Macross KO's...

40% off at ami ami.....but the shipping is monstrously high....I would like a few more but the price needs to come closer to 120 usd to offset the 50 or 60 shipping cost....forgot what amiami was charging to ship these but they were among the highest....still....if you don't have any....their price can't be beat for a MISB...unless you can find one on auction....
