Suggestion: From Episode 1: Booby Trap: Sh9000....you could pose your VF-1J Commander-type and a VF-1A Soldier in a similar setup...I think you also have some type of in-scale tank you could use.... Then, vlenhoff, or someone else with photoshop skills, can superimpose the toy pics with a background like one of these:

OK, let's see how far we can take this! No rules except one...have fun! However......it would be nice to stick to SDFM, at least initially, in honor of it's upcoming 40th Anniversary.... Loose guidelines... Recreate a scene from each of the 36 episodes of SDFM using toys and kits (Macross toys/kits and other accessories)....the gimmick.....superimpose the shots with real backgrounds, classic or modern illustrations or cel backgrounds from the actual show! Cool.... So how should we do this? Do you want to post some pics of key scenes (stuff that won't be that difficult to recreate) with suggestions for backgrounds? In celebration of the 35th Anniversary of SDFM, we should recreate at least one memorable scene from each of the 36 episodes using any of the available toys and model kits combined with photoshop'd backgrounds or screencaps of the actual show! Who's in?

Due to short-runs on Arcadia VF-0's, I see the VF-0D prices holding steady if not creeping up over time....I'd sooner expect to see a re-issue for the VF-0A/S than the VF-0D due to the recent armor release, but that may cause the price of the VF-0D to take a downward hit... I would say, currently, a trade between a YF-30 for a VF-0D would be fairly equal. If neither gets a re-issue, I would give the edge to the VF-0D for future market price and disirability.

Does not seem to scale up as well with the VF-0.....I do not have the Arcadia VF-0, so not sure if that runs smaller....

It's a 1/64 Corgi diecast..... Dunno....seems close enough to me.....
