Individually, yes....no big deal...agreed However, that is not the point of why HMR is so cool and popular.... The promise of HMR was to have most of the main mecha from the original (and potentially also DYRL) all in ONE SCALE (HMR hits that sweet spot at 1/100-ish more or less)... This is a feat that has been promised or teased before by several companies since the beginning of Macross collectible toy lines.....from Takatoku to Yamato...but until now has never been truly attempted... We are now at a point where we will finally get the majority of the Macross mecha....the good, the bad, and the ugly...all in one easy to display scale at a price that will be affordable to most..... Keep 'em coming Bandai HMR........you are not done yet!

The Monster is in a category all its own. It amazing Bandai even made it....or took the chance so early in this line....most other companies would have went straight to BK after such a release. HM-R(espect)

Pretty sure some people thought the same way about Westerns back in the day.....now they are released as genre films every few years.......someday in the far future, maybe superhero movies will also become novelty releases......oh wait...Disney owns Marvel......scratch that! -

That episode where Shin puts the giant hat onto his VF-0 was the best episode.....however, this hat is not lineart accurate and Arcadia has once again taken liberties with the colors it has chosen for the shade of brown....... PO cancelled!!!!!

The ebay Zentradi uniform you listed was not the Yamato official release.... The final auction value for the YJA listing was mostly attributed to the uniform....it has become a very high-priced collectible...thus my comment about getting a "free" TV Max....believe it or not...most end up at that price for the uniform alone....

It's anyone's guess on what VF will be covered in the next VFMF book.......perhaps a new VF will be introduced in the new Macross series and they are waiting for the series to be released? Or they could take a VF-break and do an all-Zentradi Mecha volume....

I have the original SDFM albums on vinyl and some cassette tapes ......everything else is bootleg, except maybe the Macross Plus CDs and a few of the compilation CDs....zero guilt about it....I spend more than my fair share on other legit Macross merchandise to make up for it....

So is the main difference on the 1/60 is that it takes advantage of the removable nosecone feature? Decided to pass on the 1/100 version so far because they took the Toynami route....or based it off an HM instead of HMR...
