According to this pic...only one more Monster could be staged inside the Daedelus.... The actual anime says Five more? perhaps Seito could tell us what the "official" stats say.... maybe a quick look at the Macross Chronicle issue containing data for either the Monster or the Daedelus

It still surprises me to find items I have never seen before after 30+ years of collecting....although the times in between finding these type of items gets longer each year

Maybe Bandai just wanted to make sure everyone ordered multiples by claiming this release would be unique with the included stand.....has Bandai ever released a DX VF that did not come with a stand? Beginning to think that was it for the VF-1J. Based on recent releases I think chances are pretty good at finding one as the release day approaches and on release day. Hope we see the TV VF-1S and TV fast packs at the Tamashii event later this month!

So if the gimmicks were now executed flawlessly due to manufacturing improvements since 2002....you still wouldn't want them?

The HMR also pointed out the lineart inaccuracy of the wing length while in Battroid mode....including the short wing swappable part. So perhaps some future VF-1 release may deliver on adjustable wing lengths without part-swapping. BTW....has there been any indication that the fuselage on the DX -1J is removable and mountable onto another VF-1's arm? Guess that would be a step backwards in terms of gimmicks.

I guess it is true that poster collecting has pretty much fallen out of favor....guessing that display space has a lot to do with it. I myself have more or less stopped acquiring most of them. Currently, I just try to go for promo prosters, like that of the Bandai DX -1J, but only for items I actually collect. I will still pick up any vintage Macross posters I do not have, which at this point only happen to be vintage promotional posters as well! For example, here is another vintage Shogakukan poster I found recently....promoting the upcoming release of their DYRL books! The poster is very similar in design to the one used to promo the film itself.....note that the Shogakukan promo poster finally gets around to adding DYRL-style character pics even though the SDF-1 is still depicted as the TV-style version on both.... ...this DYRL promo flyer still keeps the TV SDF-1, but manages to toss in Hikaru and Minmay in DYRL-style outfits... A few more Shogakukan promo posters..... This one promoting the legendary DYRL "Gold Book"...

They are nice, but I sold off most a few years back. I may have a few more left but never have the time to look for them. I will probably just hold onto the IMAI/ARII/TAKATOKU shitajikis
