yes, the Bandai Hi-Metal boxart for the VF-1A is also from Yuji Kaida...I know I have the book containing that image, but heck if I can find it at this time...I can post it later if anyone is interested in getting the book... The second image is a Hidetaka Tenjin if I am not mistaken....he is currently engaged in an epic rollout of boxart illustrations for Bandai's awesome HM-R line....unfortunately, AFAIK, most of that work is digital....so the only physical artwork you will find from Tenjin would be hand-drawn sketches....like this.... I have some settei sets...most are going to be copies of copies....they basically are the character and mecha sheets used by the animators to guide them when drawinging them onto the animation cels...or via computer animation these days i suppose....they are nice, but most of the art, at least from the Macross setteis i have seen, can be found in the various macross books.... Are those the Macross settei that were sold on ebay some time ago? If you bought all of those then you paid a small fortune...congrats! They are awesome!

I finally had enough stuff waiting at Anime Export to have my -31A shipped...can't believe how long they can hold stuff...either not too many people take advantage of that service or they have a huge storage room... It must be killing NY to not be able to sell their stock of -31A's at the current market rate....lol...I can imagine shelves worth of them at NY....waiting for their buyers to "give up" on hope....

Not much....as Xigfrig mentioned, 1/72 works well most of the time with 1/60 VFs and mechs....

You may have to open up your secret stash some more to achieve that goal...I myself am currently spent....think I already posted my latest acquisitions.... Or maybe elrdf can actually contribute to this community and maybe post a pic of the cel he keeps whining about that drove him to become a scalper? Maybe it's the one he originally claimed he lost by 300 yen....LOL!

That would look great next to the Kid Logic 1/6 VF-1 cockpit diorama.... This is what is sorely missing on this thread....posts of actual cels and other related art... Instead we get leeches, scalpers and general bungholes who contribute nothing to this community and just want to siphon out information for their less than admirable uses..... Indeed....the entire middle paragraph was aimed straight at you.....so you are either too stupid to realize that or you were mocking Fortress for his correct observations

Like others....I received the "paypal" shipping notification with the HK Post tracking number....and that shows that it shipped on Sept 21....thankfully I had that.....and paid via paypal within their Buyer protection window....think I may need to do that for future releases I guess...

When did it ship? Maybe I'm being too impatient? It was shipped 1st class so I suppose it is still possible mine is in transit. KC responded and asked that I give it a few more days....then they would either refund or replace. I would prefer replacement as the going rate is way above the PO price I paid for them.

Anyone else here not get their Minmay figs yet? I think mine may have been lost by the USPS....last track update was September 21st....was hoping they were just taking their sweet time in getting to me.....UGH So I still have time to "correct" the issue via Paypal. Sending KC an email via Paypal....let's see what they say. They have been nice so far....let's see what happens with a "real" problem. I have plenty on PO with them, so hopefully they can either resend or refund. If not, I get paid via Paypal and may end up having to purchase via a re-seller going forward.

LOL....so basically if Ford Dealer #1 is selling you a Mustang GT for $35K you should buy it right away before trying to see if you can get a better deal at Ford Dealer #2.....are you that dumb? You know there are websites out there that help you compare prices for almost everything right? It's called being an informed customer...do you have something against that? So basically, you are saying people should be kept in the dark about their purchases? Seems you are just butt-hurt because you can't screw people over so easily as you had hoped...didn't work here and now you are trying on facebook....

Nah...I am just "anti-letting-fellow-collectors-get-fukked-over-by-bunghole-scalpers" LOL....you admit you are scalping your cels due to being uninformed about the value of what you purport to collect....and now after leeching off of this site....you are beginning to get a better idea that your cels and many others are not worth what you think they are....which I guess is a good thing, we are here to help! You are correct, nothing wrong with buying low and selling high.....but at the same time, there s nothing wrong with informing your potential buyers of what you originally paid for the cels you are trying to scalp....That is fair, right?

Well, except when it's pretty cut and dry..... When you have someone buying a cel and then trying to sell it for double within a short amount of time from the initial purchase....that seems like scalping.... All some of us are trying to do it keep cel buyers well-informed so they can make better buying decisions.....with such info in-hand, if they still like being scalped, then that would be their perogative

From your list...only the N-Ger DYRL version and the Phalanx have been teased... In any case, my comment was in reference to the posted pic...meaning we have a credible reason to start expecting to see everything displayed eventually released...now that the M+ -19 has been released and if it turns out to be correct that the VF-4 FB2012 is on the way.....ok so it's just 2....crossing fingers for a third then we can start to believe!
