  1. Would be nice but I'd be good with a Bandai DX version from Macross Delta....oh and those crazy Regult hybrids too!
  2. I think the only 1/60 license Bandai doesn't have is the Zero one due to Arcadia's death grip on it.... Bet they have the M7.....and definitely the M+ now.... I'm guessing we will get a Major Wright Immelman VF-22 first.... then the YF-21....
  3. Great issue....think I'll pick it up..... Looking over the pics again.....I have 99+% of everything pictured from pages 34-45....
  4. I think he meant releasing the Spartan and the Phalanx....I would otherwise be in complete agreement with this plan, but since a complete Arcadia 1/60 SDFM Destroid lineup, which would require the release of a 1/60 Monster, is not likely.....I also see no point in further Arcadia Destroids....
  5. I'll be partaking in the madness right along with you....same time for me!
  6. 2am
  7. You're probably right....but resistance is futile when it comes to Macross candy!
  8. I think a lot of collectors will be eventually rewarded by skipping out on the 1/48 DX.... It's basically 2001 all over again....with the early adopters of the Yamato 1/60 V1 taking it for the team so that we all got the 1/48 by 2002 and then the 1/60 V2 by 2008.... I do not think it will take that long this time around for Bandai to ditch the 1/48.
  9. No....the 1/48 is only the messenger.....and his message is that the second coming (aka 6th Gen VF-1) is 3-4 years away.... Based on what Arcadia has been doing since it's rise from the ashes of Yamato's demise tells me they have been true believers for a while!
  10. although we no longer can have quotes in our sig lines....I remember the quotes you had no3Ljm....does Spanner? Although at this point, Spanner wouldn't really be contradicting his statements anymore....wise move....he is probably the most currently prepared for a total upgrade among us all on MW! The rest of us are now fully invested and knee-deep in old, obsolete junk!
  11. I've always like the big "VF" on the lower legs in battroid....but not cancelling any of my pre-orders because it's missing!!
  12. Interesting stuff....at some point maybe we'll see a Disney-style dismissal of the expanded Macross Universe....novels, games, etc.....and rebooting the canon to just include the actual TV series....but isn't even that problematic with either the films or TV shows being in-universe re-tellings of the actual events? Is Kawamori ultimately in charge of what the canon actually is....and is that the biggest problem? Lol....
  13. Awesome, thanks for the clarrification. Lots of NUNS logo wearing VFs in this edition too...would make for some cool customs
  14. Well....being limited to transgoogling the Japanese text......I am at it's mercy... With that said....it seems the book (in-universe) is a result of some newly discovered docs and info regarding the early development of the Valkyrie...I have always liked how these are presented as archival material printed in the future....what l can't tell is if (again, in-universe) it is official authorized NUNS publications or just the work of enthusiasts or industry reps.....says edited by 2075 KAOS Publishing....is that in reference to KAOS from M Delta?
  15. Lots of cool pics....but feels like just more of the same.... Gotta catch 'em all though!
  16. Guess the Bandai tactic of not including the AMM-1's will continue....but at least we can count on finally receiving proper red-tipped RMS-1's when the Super Packs are released!
  17. Here you go....in no particular order
  18. Variable Fighter Master File VF-1 Battroid Valkyrie book....by SB Creative
  19. Variable Fighter Master file VF-1 Battroid Valkyrie book....
  20. My Calibre Wings F-14 Type D came in....will open and post pics later
  21. Just received mine....will try and post some pics up later....
  22. Yeah.....I would imagine the great majority of fellow collectors do not have the display space. This is at best a proof of concept that got green lit instead of being sent back to get resized. I really do not expect this to go beyond a dozen varieties at most. This DX is probably just to squeeze Arcadia out of it's 1/60 VF-1 licence so Bandai can snatch it, switch to 1/60 and then keep it for as long as it wants. The object is to show collectors how Bandai can do it better, bigger and cheaper than the best attempt from Arcadia. You would have to think twice about buying another Arcadia VF-1....knowing that it is now obsolete and more expensive than the latest and greatest from Bandai. Plus think of how much a 1/60 will cost.... My guess is that Arcadia will give up the 1/60 license by next year or sooner....Bandai will grab it and sit on it while it finishes the HMR VF-1 variants. We will get a few more DX 1/48 VF-1's for 2-3 years...and get the 1/60 in time for the SDFM 40th Anniversary.
  23. No info yet....and probably not until end of the year or early next year. But I doubt Bandai will stop at just a VF-1J release.....guessing the following SDFM....Fokker, M&M, a brownie....then the DYRL Skull Squadron....possibly some websclusive along the way....would really like a VF-1D since we never received one from Yamato........maybe that could be the last 1/48 before they switch to 1/60....possibly
  24. TV hands apparently to be fixed-posed only....see pic for clown hands .... This release is "intended" to be a 100% SDFM TV release based on 1982 copyright being used....
