Didn't feel the cel justified the final auction value....back of Hikaru's and Minmay's heads = easy pass Of course that wouldn't matter to the scumbag scalpers operating on ebay these days since they will double the prices on them anyways.....hopefully someone who was actually buying it for their own enjoyment nabbed it

It is interesting that the VF-11C is not commanding YJA "sold" prices on ebay.....although high, I think the ebay price reflects the fact that they are being sold by original owners or collectors that purchased them before the prices for them went cray-cray on YJA......the current going price for a VF-11C in Japan is keeping the resellers on ebay at bay....too much to pay for them on YJA for too little a return (or a sure loss) on ebay... So in short, the 400-450 USD going rate on a VF-11C on ebay is actually a "good" deal at the moment.....usually it is better to just buy straight from Japan if you can...

https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?p=1%2F60+yf-21&ei=UTF-8&auccat=0 Auction prices for the YF-21 have dropped sharply in the last month....maybe collectors are hoping for a Bandai DX release announcement soon? VF-11B prices are pretty much unchanged....VF-11C prices are at all-time "bend over" prices.... https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?p=1%2F60+vf-11&ei=UTF-8&auccat=0

My guess is probably around the same as the current "Macross"-themed F-14's....I think they are done with the F-14 releases....so they will not be competing for sales (wise move of coming out with the F-14s first)...I personally do not see getting anymore of the F-14s if they are now coming out with "actual" versions of the Macross VF's.....I think that the existing consumer market for these built diecast models are already OK with paying in the 100-150 USD range for this type of product. The KC 1/72 transforming VF-1 is also coming and it may kill some Calibre Wings sales....but I think it is really two different markets...plus being transformable, it probably will not look as "accurate" in any specific mode and especially will probbaly not be as nice in fighter mode...... Anyway, I'm in for at least the first in this new diecast, non-transforming 1/72 Macross VF series.....not sure if I am willing to go all in on the series though......especially if they go all-out Doyusha on us.....they can only do VF-1's right? I think I already know how I'll be displaying the CW VF-1S....

Still in for at least the first release...

looks good....fill it up with destoids and it can pass as a Daedelus diorama.... Only complaint is the "FEXT HOBBY" text....needs to go

If you do not already have one, a FEXT Armor equipped Yamato LOW-VIZ VF-1S will be even costlier to put together than a NO PAINT VF-1S version.... Last two sold via YJA.... 53,000 JPY https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/q209840973 38,500 JPY https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s585276060 Let's see if market prices stand firm after the FEXT announcement..... https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g290431938 currently at 13,000 JPY

...just speculation based on the Anniversario edition....another anniversary Arcadia that was also graced with Tenjin art..... .....plus the bargain basement "boxart" used for their PF editions may indicate that their "boxart" budget may have been spent "all in one place"...
-
Cool...I like the look....I finally have something cool to dress up my No-Paint Yamato -1S with! Wonder if their will be a run on YAMATO NO-PAINT VF-1S's on the various auction and pre-owned retail sites? So just to see if the FEXT 1/60 Armor announcement has any effect on the current market prices for the NO PAINT Yamato -1S or the Yamato VF-1S kit.... Last NO PAINT on YJA sold for 30,500 JPY.... https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/308887308 Last Yamato VF-1S kit sold on YJA for 20,010 JPY.... https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m266042323

Haven't you heard? Our former allies are now considered our adversaries.....our former adversaries are now our BFFs.... and truth isn't truth.... It's a MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD World!
-
Ha! Although I'm guessing the wait will not be too long....poor fella will show up on retailer shelves DOA! ....but the Tenjin boxart will probably be magnificent!
-
I was going to place my order when I remembered that I had a few coupns from them.....did anyone try and apply theirs to the PO successfully?
-
There is an ugly one coming soon from Arcadia that you could "dress up" and make it look "badass"...
-

Set A https://fext-hobby.myshopify.com/products/1-60-owl-one-armour-pre-order Set B https://fext-hobby.myshopify.com/collections/owl-one/products/1-60-owl-one-armour-set-b-pre-order

They had one also in HMR scale.....think they just use it to demonstrate how the armor looks when it's mounted...sort of like a mannequin but much cooler! They should sell it also!
-
I was thinking the exact same thing......maybe someone could suggest it to them.....I'd be all in on an HMR scale hangar or 1/60.....probably both!
-
Now that's how you do it....make people put up or shut up.....eliminate the tire kickers and make real production decisions based on harder intel..... In for one of each....like B better but want to be able to mix things up Oh and I'd pay up front for one of those see-through VF-1's.... Can someone suggest it to them please?
-
...and I'll stick with my Z-Pilots for now....
-
A much better "fit" within the HMR toys.....especially the UNS mechs... playing around with some forced perspective shots and they could work well with the enemy mecha too
-
Strictly for the hardcore Macross fan!
