To be honest...I was shocked mine made it to me fairly unscathed....the Three Zero shipping box is essentially just barely enough to fit the toy box... ...with a thin piece of cardboard on the top and bottom for added "protection"..... I have to give credit to DHL for handling it with care...

It makes sense that Osha would think she would have remembered him since they are in the same age group....The line where he says he was a jedi....a long time ago.....made me think he was a lot older than he appears.....are they going to change who Darth Plagueis was?...or is Darth Plagueis keeping him looking young? This may also explain why he made the comment to Sol about how he did not remember him, if he really is older than he appears.... If he is indeed the new "canon" Darth Plagueis....it makes Palpatine look like more of a badass for being able to eventually take him down at some point.... -

Well, at least Sol initially tried to do the logical thing and report back to his handler...off-brand Nebula...and then the lights go out...but I must have missed the reasoning behind why he would not want to finish what he started once the lights came back on....instead he jumps off to who knows where...guessing either Witch Mountain or he knows where exactly to find Almost-Sith's Spa... So now the number of 'witnesses' to a potential Sith re-emergence have grown, which means off-brand Nebula's got to go and for sure Mug and the other no-name Jedi are bantha fodder....as of this episode, the number of Jedi 'in the know' is still manageable and can still manage to keep the Jedi's belief that 'No Sith have existed for a millenium'.... Anyone else get an Ach-To vibe to that 'unknown' planet? Maybe the other side of it is full of Porgs and Blue-milk Manatees! -
Update...on the chest cavilty issue....in order for the chest piece to fit perfectly, there are some tabs (2) that need to go in as far as possible into the slots on a plastic plate that is directly underneath the outer chest piece....I got it as far in as possible and that seemed to have resolved the issue...it still looks like the tabs can go further into the slot, but the way it is now is enough to hold it in place.....once these inner tabs are in correctly...the final 2 tabs will provide a better fit to the outer chest piece...here are the pics of the tabs and slots that work together to get everything perfectly connected....all must be fitted into each other perfectly or the chest piece will keep popping out of the chest cavities.... Inner chest piece slot....there is one for the right side and one for the left... Tab on chest cavity piece....one on each cavity (left and right).... Once it is installed properly...it looks like this....it seems to be able to push further into the tab, but did not want to risk breaking anything....either the slot is too small or tab is too big.... These slots then connect to the final 2 tabs on the chest cavity pieces.... Tabs on the left and right chest cavity pieces... Both chest cavity pieces are now fitting much better.....

Have pics of how your tabs look both on the cavity pieces and where they connect to the chest piece? Like I said, it is only an issue once you start handling it and putting the VF-1J into several poses....I need to keep making sure the pieces are correctly connected Minor inconvenience I suppose...

Another annoying aspect of the Three Zero VF-1 is how the chest piece in Battroid does not connect securely to the chest cavity pieces.....with handling, the connection comes apart leaving it looking like it has a gap....it just seems, at least in my copy, that the tab and slots are not sufficient to hold them firmly together at all times...I suppose you can opt to not add the chest cavity parts, but it looks better with them installed...

Kickstarter? I feel their current PO process is more or less the same thing.... It's not like you can get your PO deposit back after a year or more of not getting your promised item... I guess with the Kickstart we will see what the true demand is for their items....I have a bad feeling we won't be getting the Glaug or any Destroids.... In fact....I feel like this Kickstarter move might mean the beginning of the end for KC.... -
IMO....Probably the easiest and most fun "DX" VF-1 to pose to date....maybe the absence of all the joint clicking noise makes it less stressful...lol Also...that additional joint that was shown in earlier promo pics is gone...the only rotation is via the "bicep" piece directly underneath the shoulder piece...
