Maybe he is trying to go for the 'brownish' version of the armor?....but even then....the colors are still off and the shiny aspect just makes it worse...and the helmet is wrong...- 2460 replies

Agreed....they seem enamored by those sparkly paints... The other thing that has not been brought up is the size....I am glad that this fig will apparently fit into the Regult's cockpit...but I honestly would have preferred a static fig for the cockpit and a 6" figure that matches the rest of their fig line....plus it would look better against an HMR or even their own VF-1's....oh well....beggars can't be choosers, right?- 2460 replies

Most collectors are probably not buying it for the actual VF-1J

Bandai's market research obviously shows that this has more demand than an HMR Tomahawk or Phalanx... -

I too recived my Regults..three of them...with no explanation, until recently, on the missing Gluu-Gers that were advertised to be included....and the wait was over 2.5+ years with hardly an update during most of that time....and that is not even taking into account everything else they have yet to deliver on while asking for yet more payments for 'promises'.... To me throwing more cash at KC would be less about confidence and more about blind faith...at the moment I've run out of both for KC... I do wish them luck though....- 2460 replies

He asked what the drama was....so explained it... Also, if they know they cannot produce the items after taking customer deposits they should be clear about that....instead, they decided not to say anything or provide few or any updates, so now they have a trust problem... At some point their current business model will not be sustainable and many are in a position to lose their money....unless you think KC will return all deposits? I do not belive that their current goal is a guarantee that every item will get produced, if he is struggling to produce the items that are stiil pending with paid deposits....- 2460 replies

For the KitzConcept KickStarter it's a bit more complicated.... KC's existing PO system essentially works like a kickstarter....pay a deposit in advance for the delivery of the item at some future date.....which was working fine until their release dates became more erratic to the point where POs are now taking years to get released....all while receiving next to no updates on the PO release dates... And this is the biggest issue with the KC Kickstarter....like their most "recent" POs....the listed release dates on all of their Kickstarter items are now meaningless due to how they have been handling their current open POs...does anyone really think they can stick to the tight schedule they are advertising on Kickstarter? Unfortunately, KC is now insinuating that only via Kickstarter support will their customers be able to get any of the items on their current Kickstarter....they are counting on the anxieties of some of their customers....as the saying goes, fool me once.... Instead, KC should concentrate on reorganizing how they release their product....get their open POs delivered....then rethink their future production schedules so that years long waiting for items in the dark becomes a thing of the past....personally, I don't mind if they release only 1-2 items per year as long as they are released as promised....for additional cash, maybe a couple of VF-1 repaints or some of the canon schemes they have not released in between new product releases...I hope KC can fix their problems...- 2460 replies

It's fine for a VF-1 that is supposed to be more flamboyant than combat versions....not so much for Zentran soldiers....hoping they just go with flat or semi-gloss at worst...and more importantly use the color combinations actually seen on the show....- 2460 replies

It'd be dissapointing if after all this time KC decides to get loose on their "creative interpretations" for the paint applications on their Gluu-Ger....Hopefully they have run out of all of the metallic paints they have been using lately! Seriously KC.....no gloss! Stick to the "canon" colors please...- 2460 replies

I remember another 'small company' that would release many VFs in quick succession to arguably their own detriment....just like KC did, at least at the beginning....the difference was this 'other' company's products were arguably better, they did not take anyone's PO money in advance, and would release POs on a timely basis....but in the end they went bankrupt with one final swan song release...Hopefully, the 'Battlepod' is not KC's swan song...because it is the best Macross item they have released to date and points to some great future releases...but also, I do not want to lose my PO deposits!- 2460 replies

As I understand it...the listed 'goal' will finance the production of everything in Wave 1.....with that said, at the moment, the only thing that seems to be a go, whether the kickstarter fails or not, is the Gluu-Ger that was sold/advertised with the Standard Regult..the same goes for the other outstanding items like the GBPs/Max Arcade VF-1A's/Max and Miriya Figs (in theory)...if the kickstarter fails....it is possible to still get the rest of everything listed, however, it will be back to the current state of release dates, which even a Palantir could not provide information on to anyone.... If these were to be released individually on their site in the current ways that other of KC's POs have been listed, I would definitely be getting everything....but even so, I would not be placing any POs until my current POs are delivered.... And this is the Catch22 that the majority of KC's customers are in.....support via Kickstarter and have no guarantee that you will receive your items in the dates currently shown or not at all and lose even more money....or do not support the kickstarter and hope to have the chance to buy these items someday or never at all due to KC's perceived lack of demand or KC simply going out of business....either way, due to how long it has been taking to release POs, you stand the chance of losing your PO deposits in any method you decide to send it to them (KC site or Kickstarter)....it's just that by paying into the Kickstarter, you are not just losing a 'deposit/partial payment' you are losing the full price (even if 'discounted') of each item....to me, the decision is pretty simple from a financial perspective.... As a fan of KC I have had my share of likes and dislikes of their Macross items, but with their 'VF-1' line seemingly finishing up and now moving into the non-transforming mecha, they are now back on the positive end of quality and value....so it is sort of bittersweet to have to say 'NOPE' to sending them any more of my cash, at least until they have come through with what they have already sold and told us they will release....if by some miracle they are 600 USD short of meeting their goal on December 6th....I'll consider tossing them the coin...- 2460 replies

I think he would have been around when the entire Falcone family was found dead....but apparently he wasn't, at least not onscreen.....but now that a neighborhood block sized hole has been ripped open in Gotham, he probably has no option but to return from where ever Bruce Wayne happens to be....and with that said, if the show still intends to not shown him, it means that the events of the next episode will likely happen within hours of that explosion....it can't be days or weeks later because then it truly would be hard to explain The Batman's vanishing act....

The Penguin is really entertaining...IMO best series this year....However, I am actually wondering how the Bat-Matt-verse is even being allowed to exist....IMO it's essentially just a temp money grab for WB while they await the DC-Gunn-verse to release and gain momentum, I think all other non-Gunn DC projects will eventually die probably after a potential The Batman 3 movie, if so, it's just more disposable entertainment that will have no bearing on the new DCU....or is it possible that James Gunn is so confident that his Batman/DC-verse will blow the Bat-Matt-verse away that he is not concerned with the fans inevitable comparisons, potentially saying it is better than whatever he comes up with in the new DCU?....it's a big gamble for WB to not allow the DC-Gunn-verse to try to find it's way without contending with internal competition (let alone external competition) for audience dollars....IMO, the Bat-Matt-verse is hardly any different than what Snyder did...the dark and gritty DC...so I can see the DC-Gunn-verse being a complete counter style to the Snyder-verse and, by default, the Bat-Matt-verse....we'll find out soon enough I suppose if Gunn can 'save' DC...

Received my Macross SDF-1 cap by COSPA....The image of the SDF-1 looks like a TV SDF-1 to me, but the tag claims it is a DYRL cap....either way looks good...
