    Like I said...not everyone is price sensitive...if your time is of more value and prefer to skip PO nights, you can order, for example, the VF-0A, from eknight for $142.99...per the link posted by @sh9000 I think they have free shipping...not sure about tax...with that said...many states are getting wise as to non-payment of taxes domestically and on international purchases....I am sure Uncle Sam will someday get his cut from every international purchases... Anyway....big difference when trying to compare the Japanese MSRP without international shipping with the highest US retail price....I guess doing so makes some people feel like they got a much better deal...lol

    You can't just compare the price of the item...at minimum you need to add international shipping to those Japanese retailer prices...which can vary widely... Several US retailers offer free shipping...so it all comes down to placing a value on things that can also vary widely per individual collector...like time, convenience and support after you receive your item...although I think some Japanese retailers are getting better than simply telling you that you're SOL...

    Only Toynami has been able to get away with that for almost 2 decades....continuing product improvements due to market competition be damned! With that said, KitzConcept has already implemented phase one of the Toynami-style Marketing Initiative....

    Does anyone have a pic of this special version Hikaru actually wearing the helmet? In episode 4 he wraps some type of cloth around his helmet...but I can't tell if that can be done with this figure...

    I personally had not seen it before either....I looked and they snuck it into this listing...https://www.kitzconcept.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=59 I did not go through all their current VF-1 listings but the ones I did did not include it... As I said, the relocation of the leg tab was a major mold change from their first VF-1J/2.0 release...the fact that it is omitted from this slide says to me it was not an "improvement"...which is amusing after being told by KC that it was when I brought it up initially... They still look good to me in Battroid and Gerwalk....the KCs are actually the only VF toys I display in either of those 2 configurations...but I normally prefer fighter mode for any VF...so I guess I can thank KC for forcing me to diversify my display choices!
