    I'm hoping they come through....unlike Bandai, for the most part Macross is KC's main IP license....so can they crank out more than just a couple of items a year?...probably...will they be able to? Only time will tell....I definitely want the Destrods....

    KC just sent an update regarding the Kickstarter....looks like he was working on the prod schedule and will now work on tweaking the designs and the molds.... He also said that anyone who backed the kickstarter can buy any item they did not back at the kickstarter price.....

    Since I completed my Henkei set a decade ago....I have come across everything you have pictured multiple times....the true diamond of the Macross Henkei set is actually the Takatoku/Marx Super VF-1S.... Without it....no Macross Henkei collection can ever complete... Again....congrats! Good to know there are still collectors out there that still appreciate these older SDFM era items...

    Doubtful there was any measurable impact for the average consumer...but I always order my stuff and have it shipped via EMS or some other express shipping....I guess to know if things have taken longer to receive we'd need to hear from folks here that go with the proverbial Chinese slow boat to determine if shipping via boat has been any slower to them as of the last year or so....from casual posts I have read on here folks seem to be receiving their stuff in the expected amount of time, some even said they had received their items quicker if you can believe that....so go figure...

    YJA is going to be your best source for these and many other older Macross posters....sometimes Mandarake too.....for YJA you will need to use a proxy...

    It's not great but that's definitely the "look" they are going for...like the early style Spiderman comic books...with a modern edge that will probably get some people all worked up if the stories are boring.... ...as far as the style they went with...whether it works or not is debatable.... It doesn't bother me at all, so I'll keep watching....

    That B/W image is a real departure from his current MtF style and looks very different from anything previous, in terms of his character 'style'....I like it... As for the rest of the images, only the MtF stuff hasn't been collected in some other previous Mikimoto artbook....maybe they want to include his latest illustration from the 4K DYRL release....not surprised by the delay, but it may closer to release now than ever before.....I'll make sure to quote myself one year from now!...

    The comicbook style doesn't bother me at all....with that said, I totally get your point, for me, no matter how good the animation is, if the english voice actors are terrible, I can't watch...which basically tosses out most dubbed anime for me....and I don't partucularly enjoy subbed tv or movies....

    It's ok....more disposable entertainment.... In terms of the look....maybe it takes place in that comic book earth shown in the last Dr. Strange movie....

    I thought I remember a guid about how to tell, specifically for the poster you are inquiring about....I will see if I can find it....unfortunately, the particular poster you are looking to buy is one that does have bootleg copies, official resized versions, etc.....

    Thought that on BW-licensed Macross toys...it was either 1982 for "TV" based toys...and 1984 for "DYRL" based toys...

    With the exception of DC....all of those other IPs belong to Disney....and so does the Alien IP.....cautiously optimistic...I had no issues with Romulus either...actually just watched in on D+ over the weekend....my biggest issue is that I had no reason to subscribe to Hulu....and still don't....will just wait and see how this show is received by fans and critics I guess....

    Sadly, based on past 'mistakes'....KC usually double downs on things pointed out as needing improvement....poor sales may be the only way to get the message across...

    I believe the issue with the regult/battlepod is that potential customers have been turned off by what has been happening with the KC line before its release that even though the Regult is actually a solid release...the damage to their rep may be too great for many to overlook and give them another chance....the current Max fig doesn't help KC....it's probably now all up to the diehard fans to help KC through this hump....even though I do not particularly like the Max fig....they more or less kept their promis to release it close to when they said they would....I am guessing a March-April release for the first wave of Zentran figs....however, I won't wait that long before reaching out for an update if none is posted on their FB page...cautious optimism is all I can have at this point....
