    KC Update for Recon Battlepod... We are excited to announce that the Recon BattlePod will feature the following new designs, enhancing its technological appeal and interactivity: 1. Magnetic Switch Control for Lighting Effects - The lighting effects for the entire unit, will be controlled using magnetic switches. - Users can simply move a magnet to turn the lights on or off, ensuring simple, convenient, and intuitive operation. 2. Cockpit Nightlight Power Supply - We are experimenting with dual power supply options for the cockpit nightlight, offering users more flexibility: - Battery Power: Allows users to operate the nightlight in environments without external power, making it convenient for display. - USB Plug-in Power: Enables users to directly power the nightlight using a USB connection. * Limitations: - USB plug-in power is only designed as a direct power supply and does not support lithium battery charging or storage. - Due to internal space constraints, the feasibility of supporting both power supply options simultaneously is still under evaluation.

    So thinking Masami for the hanger illustration? It actually makes sense and should have picked up on the VF-1J Battroid as the smoking gun.... Very similar to his other illustration of the VF-1J in "repair"...

    I was never able to get into either Daredevil or The Punisher....or any of the other Netflix shows....but really enjoying the new D+ Daredevil show.... It doesn't seem like I am missing out by not having watched the previous shows, but if I wanted to try again, what would be a better watch....The Punisher or Daredevil?

    In terms of media....Robotech is dead.... However, in terms of merch (mainly toys)....it has arguably never been better thanks to all of the Chinese companies cranking out product.... For the most part, Robotech is primarily tied to Macross....as long as Macross never dies, neither will Robotech....even if HG relinquished its license, someone out there would buy it and keep releasing Robotech "Macross" toys....it's a great license to own...zero efforts in coming up with new ideas....just collect on licensing fees on all the old ones you never even created yourself, heck, the hardest part was just coming up with "veritech", "guardian", and "battloid"....LOL

    Welcome to Macross World! Macross toys made by Japanese companies get posted in the Toys thread... "Macross"/Robotech toys made by non-Japanese companies get posted in the Anime and SciFi thread... We have not seen any officially BW licensed Macross toys by non-Japanese companies....ever... and likely never will...

    The Takatoku Destroids from the "Macross Collection Series" are not worth as much as they used to these days....with box and all contents in decent shape they average about 3500 JPY....the 2 Battroids from this set still command a higher resale value, as well as, the Destroid Monster....so if you got anywhere from about 25 to 50 usd for each to account for the proxy fees and int'l shipping fee one would need to pay to buy them straight from a Japan auction or retail shop, then you did well...     Apparently the pilot that was initially offered with the early POs is now an "exclusive"....not sure if that means other pilot figs are coming with different faces? Would seem odd for KC not to milk the molds...for example, specific pilots for the missile-type Regults?

    I'm hoping they come through....unlike Bandai, for the most part Macross is KC's main IP license....so can they crank out more than just a couple of items a year?...probably...will they be able to? Only time will tell....I definitely want the Destrods....
