I preordered in May and got my tracking number today.

I'm not sure who else is not chiming in, but mine is perfectly fine. I transformed it around 5-10 times between all modes. I got mine from Amiami after it restocked.

Are there telltale signs when HLJ isn't able to fulfill a DX preorder lately? Or has that not happened in a while? Just all of a sudden got a nervous feeling about my VF-25F preorder.

worked like a charm, thanks. These tiny features are really hard to see.

Haha, this is really reminding me of the sneaker game, have to buy Jordans every month because they re-retro the popular models on a similar monthly schedule at $160 a pop. If you fall behind you have to pay reseller prices later. . . April = VF-171CF June = RVF-25 July = VF-25F Aug = VF-27 Oct = VF-25A

sorry I'm relatively new to the game. . . when was the last time Yamato had a short preorder window? Seems like the MSRP price always deters this.

welcome!!! On tfw they did a survey recently, everyone (I mean EVERYONE) was like 32 or older. Makes sense because the cartoon was in the 80's, and most of the people that grew up in the 80's now have solid jobs to pay for this addictive hobby.

Wait for 2014 if you want the definitive Macross Hero Valk - YF-19 Isamu Dyson from Macross Plus. Assumming the necessary improvements are made, it will be the best Macross offering at this point in terms of playability, durability, and collectibility.

Oooh Tiger Track. . . .Nice Haul.
-
Like my transformers collection, I suggest one per mold to start. That said, there are tons of Valk molds out there. All $150+ a pop. Good luck!

What I did exactly was remove the green shoulder piece first. It is just pegged into the black piece with two tiny pegs. After that was off, then I had full access to the screw on the black piece. Sorry for the confusion.

The blackpiece + shoulder covers are basically compressed against the metal shoulder joint, not screwed into it. So I just yanked mine off. Then you can swivel the black piece fully around to get access to the tiny screw and loosen it a tad. Next pop it back into place.

When transforming back to fighter, I don't try to snap in the arms into the back anymore I just leave them loose, I believe this is what causes the stress on the black NUNS pieces.

oh can you share the link? I've been looking for a VF-1 for quite some time.
-
all of em.

So does everyone pretty much push the ankles all the way in in battroid (for all VF's)? It's not screen accurate, basically just to avoid the "floods" look?

Mine always falls forward due to the weight of the front nose and loose ankle joints.

No I think they are talking about the VF-171CF, Amiami still has stock. http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-RBT-2966&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Fs_keywords%3Dvf-171%24pagemax%3D30%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D1
