The velcro doesn't actually "seal" the box. It holds down a flap that goes over the display window. The 1/48s aren't factory sealed on the outside of the box.

Ya last's RAW was awful. A really bad show leading into a probably awful PPV. At least RVD was on twice. The smaller version of the Royal Rumble main event was terrible.

I agree. Whining about a .02 cent piece of velcro not being there is really lame. I've never seen a fanbase complain so much when the fanbase has it so good right now.

That Miria 1/48 looks really nice. Very tempting....I'd have to do some serious ebay selling or maybe sell the 1/48 Max VF-1A I just bought lol or my low viz 1/48..... I'm trying to pay off some credit cards so I really don't want to dip into my personal funds. The Max looks good too. The light blue is alright I guess. I'd consider buying it if there is a version without the fast packs. I doubt that will happen though.

Who says that Animeigo had any right to consent. They worked on the footage it doen't mean they own it. HG does. Well, there would have to be some type of consent. If there were no provisions made in their original agreement that HG can use the remastered footage, then they cannot just come along afterwards and take it from AnimeIgo. If Animeigo actually owned the remastered footage outright it wouldn't do them much good since they couldn't distribute/sell it without HG being involved. It doesn't really matter anymore since the new DVDs are out and Animeigo and Shin are credited in the release from what I have read. It seems everying is ok. I have no plans on buying this set anyway.

Collect what you want and what makes you happy. Don't buy something just beacuse. Its really stupid to think that there has to be rules in collecting Macross stuff. Ugh I hate fanboys.

Blame that on currency exchange rates not Yamato. The MSRP of 19800 yen is the same as the Hikaru VF-1J FP. Not too surprising that these were coming. I'll be passing on these...I have enough 1/48s.

Aura Battler Dunbine has dated animation, but it's nothing compared to Armored Trooper VOTOMS when it comes to fugly animation. LOL very true. VOTOMS hasn't aged well but neither have any other early 80's anime shows. Fist of the North Star TV series has alot of episodes that just look awful but yet I still love it. lol SDF Macross looks crappy too.

Terrible pity? I'm sorry but how many times can one chick play the tough "take no sh!t" chick. It was played out in The Fast and Furious, and got worse in Resident Evil and SWAT. Ugh......I'm glad she was offed in the first movie. Ya I'm glad she and her very annoying voice got killed There were enough bad actors in the first we don't need anymore in the second lol I'll be looking forward to the new RE 2 movie.

I think this Foley coward angle has lasted longer than he was on TV for recently. This angle needs to end. Last night Jim Ross kept on saying Nassau Colisieum(which is NY) is the home for Wrestlemania 20. I thought WM 20 was at Madison Sqaure Garden(which is in NY). Sigh I remember wrestling before Wrestlemania....lol

Last's night RAW for the most part was crap. Again to the WWE: End this stupid Jericho/Trish crap. Nobody cares. The Sheriff Austin bit is lame. I love the guy, but Ric Flair, its time to hang it up. Goldberg returned. The HHH/HBK interview segment was nauseating. Randy Orton vs RVD was a good match. And for once a main event didn't end with DQ or run in etc. Just a pinfall. Hey only 5 Final Fantasy X-2 commericals this week. Unlike the 12 last week. lol

Like most Gonzo titles. It looks good and the story is kinda weak. The collection is a good buy though despite the dual sided discs. Plus you get an extras disc.

Actually the first two episodes are kinda tame in the random body explosions. The new OVA looks really good though. The only downside is that Akira Kamiya(Roy Focker) doesn't do the voice of Kenshiro like in the original and TV series The original FOTNS movie is an all time classic. Much better than the queer ass crap that's released today.

Ya my wife had them. They were pretty awful. She was a Nash freak for awhile. Probably why I hate him so much even though I kinda look like a smaller version of him lol.
