If you plan to get the YF-21FP, make sure it doesn't have the loose hips problem. Btw, Q-Rau's out on 2/28. Info's from the Q-Rau thread. That maybe a much better buy. The problem with that is you don't know that until you buy it. I had to use expoxy to fix the hip joints from being so loose. Again the YF-21FP is a piece of crap. Save the fanboyism please. Use the money for the Q-rau.

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow is really good. So is Castlevania Circle of the Moon. I haven't tried the other one yet. The Mario games are decent. Sword of Mana I'm having hard time getting into.

If ya can find the YF-21FP for 40.00 or less it might be worth it. Its not that great a toy. Wrong color, Battroid mode and Gerwalk mode are a wobbly mess. Fighter mode is nice. I wouldn't have have bought this if I didn't sell my original YF-21 a few years ago. I'd use the money towards the Milia Q-Rau.

To each thier own on this one. For the most part I don't like Macross 7. It has a few instances where its really good but overall its disappointing (to me). Besides Basara(whom I can't stand), the characters are really boring and uninteresting. Also the villians don't really stand out as threatening. More laughable if anything. The series does pick up about half way through and the ending is good. The series should have been 26 episodes. The aniumation is kinda subpar for its time(mid 90's anime TV series). A shorter episode count could have helped. I know some people are turned off by the idea of pilots with instruments. This never bothered me. Its really no different than Minmay singing to the Zentraedi.

Since no one can answer my question I am going to assume that the remastered versions are not available in Japan. Animiego's high price and lack of releasing outside the US created this bootleg. It is there own damn fault. I thought HG wouldn't let Animeigo distribute out of the US. Animeigos distribution in the US is terrible enough. I couldn't imagine how bad it would be on an international scale lol

Seems like a rip should be pretty much identical since it's all digital. I'll check that site out and thanks for the heads up about those dvds being expensive. I think my PS2 is region free or something (there's always a way around that anyways). Hopefully the FX version plays well, I had a problem playing my Macross Zero Ep. 2 dvd on my ps2. Why I use a ps2 to play dvds is another matter off topic Just less clutter I suppose. I have the older release of DYRL that I bought off of VE. I'm really hoping the FX quality will be superior to it, as I was a bit disappointed (especially that I think the dvd case says it is a DVD9 but my DVD-R says the disc is 4.3 gigabytes as I recall). The FX disc quality is very close to the R2 version and much better in terms of video than the old DYRL DVD. But I think the subs are a bit better on the old DVD.

You won't find the R2 release for 30.00. R2 DVDs are always expensive. Different economy, higher cost of living, dollar vs yen etc. The FX disc is a rip of the R2 disc from Bandai. I own both. I'll be buying both lol lol I actually by the fullscreen versions of the theatrical since the EE versions are anamorphic widescreen only. I haven't watched the theatrical versions since I bought the EE versions though. Call it the collectors mentality or my wife telling me to buy it

I like it. Simple, subtle, and elegant. ... I concur. It also boring,dull and uninteresting to the average consumer. Looks terribly bland when (barely)seen on shelves with other anime DVDs. The line art covers on the individual are junk too. The text on the back is all blurry like it was done with a 100 dpi inkjet printer. The Robotech Macross Saga DVDs had nicer covers. The New Gen covers were nice too. Better than what ADV used for the Mospeada box set. What, no respect to the originals?

I have a few .005 markers. IIRC, the name Sakura something or other. I bought them at Michaels. National chain I believe. A7 told me about them and he's in California and I'm in Chicago. Gundam markers are too big and require too much clean up. I used black on my Hikaru VF-1S and the FP armor. I like it. Since the VF-1 isn't real I'm not going for a realistic look. As long as you keep the lines thin its fine. Really thick black lines look bad.

Eh the triple threat match for WM XX comes as no surprise. HBK vs Benoit was pretty good until the end of course. RVD winning some gold with Booker was good to see. The rest of the show...terrible as usual. What does Austin exactly do again? Jim Ross really needs to pay attention to what he says. While Mick Foley was getting his ass kicked "I've never seen Mick Foley beaten so badly" uh go watch when the Undertaker threw him off the top of the cage. WWE has only show that a million times. During HBK vs Benoit they "had" to go to commercial. I'm still kinda iffy on this show. On one hand, the animation, CG, and music are top notch. Typical GONZO. On the other hand, the story(I've only seen the first two eps) is kinda weak and the characters aren't very interesting. Again typical GONZO. That being said, I preordered the Bandai release. Just the regular version. I don't have DTS so I don't need the extra DVD. And the flight patch isn't worth it to me. I'm sure, as alawys, Bandai will do a high quality release.

Star Trek TNG is my favorite followed by DS9. I'm not a huge fan of of TOS but I watch it every now & then. Its a toss up of which is worse, Voyager or Enterprise. I wonder where the franchise is headed. With that awful movie, Nemesis and lame Enterprise show, it doesn't look good.

ugh the red Rook/Houquet MPC looks like a gashapon toy with that blue canopy I'm beginning to think that the blue canopy is final...unless the inside cockpit isn't done yet.
