  1. Why do I have the feeling the YF-19 FP will be like Yamato's Escaflowne?..awful. Its nice too see some other Macross stuff coming. I'm kinda interested in the VF-0S and VF-0A.
  2. What's in the book? Just pictures?
  3. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?SEK39922 http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?SEK39923 Ah these look ok. I might pick up the Minmay figure
  4. Just got my shipping notice from HLJ. Hooray Now the other Millia figure from the Q-rau, will be banished to the closet.
  5. No. One is enough for me. But I originally only planned on buying Scott's anyway...and now I wish I hadn't...ugh
  6. Here ya go. Region 3 version of Gunbuster with English subs http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/pid-.../section-anime/ I'm not sure if these are remastered though since the new R2's aren't out yet. yesasia.com has those for preorder too http://us.yesasia.com/en/SrAllDept.aspx?se...0&str=gunbuster EDIT Now it seems the R3 set has no English subs but it says it does on the package.. http://forums.animeondvd.com/showflat.php?...sb=5&o=&fpart=4
  7. I've seen some of the same complaints at the RT.com forums. Parts missing from the head, arm has fallen off etc. While I started out kinda liking this thing, I'm starting to loathe it and wish I would have spent my money elsewhere
  8. My favorite toyline? well as a kid it would have to be Star Wars. GI Joe I liked alot too. M.A.S.K was another favorite. Transformers I liked somewhat. Nowadays...Berserk by Art of War/Yamato. Sure they are overpriced and the line is small but I dig the designs/characters. The statues I like but they are way too expensive http://www.art-of-war.co.jp/ Macross? I like it..I don't love it like I used to. Its my second favorite toyline. I'm just sick of the high prices.
  9. Lesnar was a fool. Threw it all away. He'll be back in the WWE in a year(if they want him back).
  10. Wow those pics look great. I'm getting the box but I'm sure I'll hear some crap from the ole' lady lol
  11. lol ya we need the other red headed stepchild of the Macross universe to trash for awhile ah Macross II has a few thing going for it: Ishtar and some of the music and some stuff that makes it what it is... Hibiki, a recycled DYRL plot and really ugly mechs. Also the "movie" format of M2 really makes it drag. The original OVA format on VHS that was released in the early 90's was easier to stomach.
  12. Ya it doesn't look like her much plus she's smiling How can she be viewed as a bad ass with that look on her face? Oh well I preordered a set awhile ago anyway. Anything is better than that hunk of plastic that came with the Q-rau.
  13. Some more on this subject but more serious and nothing about aliens. kind of interesting http://www.911inplanesite.com/
  14. Well its coming and in three versions no less... http://dvd.ign.com/articles/541/541466p1.html
  15. If they were going to remaster the video too...then maybe but just for 5.1? nah but I wouldn't be surprised if this would come to the US anyway..Every company loves to double if not triple dip on DVDs lately
  16. Regarding Macross Zero, what is there to push? A few models? Those crappy CM figures? An episode that comes out once every 6 months? There really isn't anything to push.
  17. If Macross is ever going to be popular again it needs a few things: A full TV series or even a Manga series to be in the anime public eye. An OVA like Macross Zero is really for fans(fanboys) only. It's not going to attract many new fans. Toys to go along with whatever new series. Not Collector's toys. Cheaper toys. Toys for kids. You're not going to expand your fan base with only expensive merchandise. For the most part, Macross stuff is aimed at the older fans and is expensive to collect. That being said, Macross has its following(like alot of anime shows) but the chances of it cultivating new fans are slim. I doubt many kids are impressed with a poorly animated 20 plus year old anime show.
  18. Ugh this has turned into a comedy of errors.....no one is laughing...well Toynami is... all the way to the bank...
  19. Toynami morons. Gah!! What about the toys themselves? They are numbered too. Look in the crotch area...
  20. Here ya go... Underworld: Superbit Edition on 10/26 http://dvd.ign.com/articles/539/539675p1.html What the farting hell? Isn't that 3 versions in about a year?
  21. Ouch Opus that really blows. to show its not just "us" bitching about this thing. http://www.robotech.com/community/forum/re...=3&totalpages=3
  22. Yeah the auto word changer sensor thing is super lame. You guys just have no sense of humor. Lebhead and RtH would love the filter! The word filter has it moments. That farting bear story is funny. Busch beer farting sucks.
  23. You know what's funny. I was sitting at a table in SDCC waiting for the raffle and the HG people were there. Tommy Yun was saying how fragile the 1/48 was and compared it to the MPCs (both versions). How they were meant to be played with and the 1/48 was closer to a model that is only for display. Well I probably won't be getting any more Alphas and becuase of the quality I have 20 1/48s. Make them right and I'll buy them all... well, not all, I'm sure Godzilla will want some. Do you know anyone with over 10 MPCs? Tommy Yune...what a hilarious farter he is lol The Alpha MPC isfragile. It isn't meant to be played with alot at all. While I like the hatches, I'm not going to open them much. I'm afraid they will break. Same goes for the tailwings.
  24. Samething happened to me the very first time.....farting Toynami.. You'd think they would have used a rod or something stronger for the hinge... I don't plan on buying anymore. But I was only interested in this one anyway.
