SNK is an advantage for the XBox? Cool to have that niche market, but in terms of sales KOF isn't going to do jack squat for the XBox. Ah KOF Re-Bout was alright. The remake was slow when compared to the original. The new 3-D back grounds didn't do much. The original NEO-GEO version is on the PS2 import as well. KOF is a hard sell(so are the rest of SNK games) in the US. You can blame SNK for barely updating KOF the last 10 years. I don't blame SCEA for not wanting to release 2-D games like this individually (especially since SNK wanted to charge full price 39.99-49.99 for each individual title). They really ain't worth it and I'm a fan. I do want to pick up KOF Neowave. If no(most likely) US PS2 release, I'll import.

That's really not true, there's still a lot of games out there with really solid gameplay. The last two games I bought (Halo2 and Outrun2) had fantastic gameplay, Outrun2 is probably one of the greatest arcade games of all time. I'm not a big graphics whore, I think the most beautiful games tend to be 2D, but some games are just unplayable because of their graphics. Tried going back and playing those N64, Playstation or 3D Saturn games? It's painful going back to those games. My bigger complaint with graphics comes from games like the GTA series, where the gameply is there but the graphics blow. If the games had been designed for the GC or XBox, they wouldn't look like the ass they look like. The same can be said for a lot of PS2 games. Does it ruin the game? No, it's just frustrating to know that it could be better. Given that the video games industry is bigger than the movie industry and growing, that won't be happening anytime soon. The three-company setup in the industry right now almost guarantees there won't be a repeated Atari fiasco as well, if one company messes up, there's two more to take it's place... But very little. Outrun2 yes and 2D games are the best. Well that's a matter of opinion. There are/were alot of horrible 2D games. Most 2D games age better though. 3D PS1/Saturn and N64 look horrible now. I'm not too excited about the next generation of gaming. I'm still enjoying what we have now. Do X-Box gamers feel the need to upgrade? And I really don't care about Nintendo anymore. The Lamecube has been disappointing. Mine's been collecting dust. Better than the turd that was the N64 but still not that great. The GBA SP is cool but the DS seems like it was a mistake. Hardly any games for that and its been out since Christmas. I haven't loved Nintendo since the SNES.

That's been known for about 2 weeks or so lol It'll debuting in Japan on May 13th. As of now, I won't be buying this. I don't even own an X-Box. Maybe I'll bite if there are some games I'm interested in of course. Most likely, I'll wait for the PS3 in 2006.

I called my local Best Buy to see how much they wanted for House of Flying Daggers, and they said $19.99. Well if ya would click on the link you'd see that some(like I said) are 29.99 on Best Buy.com. Haven't seen them in the stores yet. Kill Bill Vol 1(not even the uncut version), Pirates of the Carribean, National Treasure, and Regin of Fire are 29.99. The rest are between 14.99-19.99.

Ya I've ordered a few things(including this book) from AmazonJp without a problem and I can't read much Japanese. Searching for items can be hard sometimes though. Click on the "display in English" button that helps a little. You can register just like you would on Amazon US or CA etc.

The animation looks alright. Nothing outstanding though. I don't understand what the whining is about the spandex suits. The characters wore suits like that in MOSPEADA/RT NEW Gen. And David Lucas is so lame. Same delivery no matter what character he voices.
