I really wanted to like this more but right when you feel the story is going somewhere it ends. I know there is the FSS manga(I don't read manga at all anymore) but too bad more wasn't animated.

The best anime? Here's is what I like the most in no particular order Berserk Record of Lodoss War OVA VOTOMS Macross Macross Plus Fist of the Northstar(all of it) Samurai Champloo Cowboy Bebop Wolfs Rain Requiem from the Darkness Hellsing Ninja Scroll the movie(the TV series was f-ing garbage) Ghost in the Shell SAC. I like the first GITS movie, the second really annoyed me. Vampire Hunter D 1 & 2

Mine can't hold the rifle because of the shoulder joint. The whole arm rotates down. Good luck finding a cheap one. He's hard enough to find let alone finding a cheap one. I've been looking for a while and the cheapest I found was like $20 a few months ago. 427416[/snapback] If you buy one of the accessory packs they come with a piece(1 for each arm) that slides over the shoulder joint to keep the arms from rotating down when holding the rifle. I had weapon set #1 and the parachute pack. They both came with the extra parts for the shoulder. The Chirico figure usually sells for around 25-30.00. Ya my volume 4 showed up the other day. The ammo box is alright. CPM did a good job on this series. I just have to sit through and watch it all again.

Considering how many anime series have been released in Japan, it's still remarkable that SDF Macross made the top 100. Hey at least Macross 7 has been forgotten about lol. Unless I missed it, I'm surprised that any incarnation of Ruroni Kenshin didn't make the list.

I thought smelly otaku who are so infatuated with their toys and who don't shower cause plastic to yellow I know Oxy Clean will sometimes get rid of or reduce yellowing.

I've had trouble with links to 1up before. Sometimes they never load. There are some good games here but no Streets of Rage is a sin. Why a Genesis version of Virtua Fighter 2 is on there is beyond me. Maybe I'll buy this for Shinobi and Altered Beast. The US got screwed with the Sonic Gems Collection. It was released on the PS2 and Gamecube in Japan and Europe. They both had all 3 Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle games. There is no US PS2 version. When the Gamecube verison came to the US, Sega removed those three games. Sega said they had to so they could rate the collection "E for Everyone" instead of "Teen". Idiots

Ya I think I'll be joining the Xbox 360 club soon. There's finally some games coming out that I like, namely Tenchu. Dead Rising looks cool too. PS3 is too expensive and I don't like having Blu-ray forced on me. The Wii, while probably fun for little bit, might end up being too much of a gimmick for me. My nephew will probably buy a Wii, so I can check his out.

Saw it when I was 12 thought it was horrible at the time even though I loved the toys. The duel was the only good part. Then the next season of Transformers was even worse than the original....I didn't think that was possible I'll be glad when this 80's nostalgia trip is over..not everything from back then was good..

Ya I dropped off the Yamato buying binge awhile ago. Just too expensive. I knew something was up when I looked at my toys and said "what a waste of money". I sold off almost all of my Macross stuff(1/48s, 1/55s, 1/60s. books, misc toys, etc) in the past year. Hell I've stopped buying toys altogether and drastically cutback on anime purchases. The only hobbies I still have are music, videogames and weight training(if that's considered a hobby lol)

Ugh the video on this DVD is pretty bad. I haven't watched it on an old tv yet, just on a HD set upconverted to 1080i.... you know its bad when the credits have rainbows... it's white text on a black screen The music used on the Japanese side for the Chun Li/Balrog(Vega in the US version) fight is really awful. Not that the music in US/UK version is gold but it seemed more appropriate for that scene.

non-anamorphic? ugh. My DVD player can expand the picture without losing the subtitles but I'd rather not do that. Fighting game anime is a mixed bag with me because I'd rather be playing the games than watching. Most fighting game anime isn't that good. The Street Fighter II movie is probably the best of the bunch. Fatal Fury isn't bad though. Tekken and especially Samurai Shodown are among the worst.

Ya Judge Dredd was awful...pretty much unwatchable. Anyone remember Mega-Force? Most of Star Trek movies are bad. Nemesis was worse than an episode of ST:Voyager I'll be the first and nominate Transformers the Movie...it'll probably be a big turd

We still need an R1 DVD of DYRL? and a decent R1 DVD of Macross Plus the Movie first... slow down lol I wouldn't buy a Blu-ray or HD-DVD player for just those two titles. But I probably won't buy either of those players anyway. I won't be surprised if those two formats go the way of DVD audio and SACDs...

Good movie but it could have been 30 minutes shorter. The sword fight on the wheel became boring and annoying.
