That might be some of the worst advice/reasoning I've ever read on Macross World. I should tell that to my customers....I'd be out of business. I don't buy Yamato toys anymore but I really thought about buying a 1/60 YF-19. With all problems I'll wait or won't even bother. Which is a shame for me since I love the YF-19 design. Just because Yamato YF-19 is the only game in town doesn't mean I have to rush out and buy it.

For all that money, it shouldn't crack under normal use, period. The 1/60 YF-19 sounds like a big flying turd.

You shouldn't have to cross anything. I can see it now: "My 250.00(just a guess) toy from Yamato just broke". And then we'll have a DIY thread to fix all of Yamato's mistakes and another thread of someone selling recast parts. And then Yamato will announce they'll fix everything in the next release and then the Yamato Defenders of the Faith Club here will type "yeah way to go Yamato, you rule, can't wait (to get screwed)." god I'm glad I don't buy these anymore, too much of a headache.

Hmm wierd. I have an original US launch PS2(with updated DVD player drivers) and somewhat newer JP PS2(SCPH 50001 Pearl White) and I never had any problem with memory cards. I've had cards with both JP and US saves on them and either PS2 read the card just fine. I check again to make sure.

I don't collect or buy Yamato toys anymore but when I did I never had too many breakage problems. I owned all of the 1/60s VFs, 1/72s Macross Plus and about 10 1/48s. There was: the Tab B on the first 1/72 YF-19 that broke. one 1/48 back pack hinge that broke right of the box because the mold wasn't right a 1/48 VF-1S head laser that broke but that was my fault. I mainly stopped buying Yamatos due to their price and overall (sometimes bad)quality. It's not worth it to me anymore. I thought about buying a 1/60 YF-19 but after reading about the problems, forget it. 200.00 can be better spent else where.

It might show up on the DishNetwork HD channel I have. I forgot the name of the channel but they've shown Samurai 7, Blue Gender, Galaxy Railways and other Funimation shows. They are uncut(besides commercials) from what I can tell.
