I shower with mine.. When I used to have 1/48s I had them on display above my computer on bracket-less shelves. But eventually they all ended up in their boxes and then eventually sold on ebay. I thought if they're just gonna sit in their boxes someone else should have them to enjoy.

Ace Combat yeah and Armored Core only if you can find the games cheap. They're ok but the stiff controls, sluggish action and lack of interactivity with your surroundings really hurt the series. I'm not sure about the PS3/360 versions though. and my Macross PS2 score is 100 zillion points actually I do have S rankings on all the missions. Well I like some post 2000 anime. Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex and its sequel 2nd Gig , Last Exile and Hellsing to name a few. Shows like Bleach or Eureka 7 are terrible though. Actually I always thought Akira and Megazone 23 were steaming piles lol

Ya I've been watching anime since the 80's too. I've bought & sold off alot stuff over the years. Just a guess but I think I own about 30% of what I've seen. That's about 150-200 DVDs right there. All of my old VHS tapes are long gone. DVDs that I didn't want anymore have been sold on ebay. I don't buy as much as I used to. Thank you Netflix. Most new anime right now isn't worth watching more than once.

If Jetfire counts, that would be in 1985 or so. Actually I had more Macross models than toys. The models were really easy find around here (Chicago area) back in the early to mid 80's. I had lots of poorly put together & painted model kits lol. Had a few Southern Cross and Mospeada kits too. Of course I had the Gakken Alpha & Cyclone toys. Long gone now. What got me back into collecting for another 7-8 years was buying an overpriced Takatoku VF-1S for 500.00 in 1997 at Wizard World. They were all that high then or at least I was I don't collect/buy toys that much anymore though. Hell, I don't even have a Macross toy collection anymore...

Ya the 1/35 Max Factory Votoms toys are way overpriced. They shouldn't be anymore than 2000 yen really. I have one and that's all I'll get unless I can buy them for under 20.00.

I was at Monday Night Raw in Chicago.....too much talking and not enough wrestling (like I should be surprised) . And the wrestling that did happen wasn't very good. My tradition of not buying/watching WWE PPVs will continue lol

I dunno, what do people want? a system that doesn't break? Some of my wife's students and some of my friends have had their 360s die on them. Didn't matter if they were launch or newer consoles. That's probably about 20 out of 35 people. The 360 might have the best games but the system failures have kept me from buying it. Surprisingly, the PS3 hasn't had too many problems(aside from the price and not many good games). Unless no one is buying it lol
