I keep clicking that orange pre-order button and once it said that the item is sold out. "Please Wait" followed by "Unfortunately, DX Chogokin Movie VF-1S Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijyou Custom) "Macross: Do You Remember Love?"(Pre-order) is sold out."

I'll be in for tonight but I probably won't be back again for this line, except maybe if they do M&M. And even then, the white packs they did for the HMR are a bit of a turn-off.

What leads you to this conclusion? There are several people in this thread, me included, that got missile set orders in during the long window when the N-Y price for the missile set was pretty close to MSRP. I'd expect the S/SP to follow the same pattern - MSRP during the pre-order window, then slowly rising after it closes.

Has anyone had good luck with importing Valkyries that reek of smoke into a smoke-free home?

Just double-checking a couple things: Does this VF-1 release smell any different from releases in the past? Are markings like in the photos below on the interior of the left leg common?

One last thought is keeping me from pulling the trigger on multiple missile sets - What if they reissue it once for each release? Max's 1A's set might come with a Zentraedi jacket, later super releases with the super parts, etc. An argument against this is that "Hikaru's VF-1J" is nowhere in the product name, and this release of missile sets included reaction warheads, which Hikaru's 1J was never equipped with.

I want that Messer coloring so bad. I'm tempted to buy an Arad to go with these, but it's not like they'all that coordinated with his blue and red color scheme either...

Bandai doesn't get a cent from these secondary market sales. If Bandai does a reissue, it would lend credence to your point but also lower the price.

He's going to cancel a single PO (singular 'it' that he's going to cancel) which consists of a single unit (second one). This action is going to free up $400 to be spent elsewhere. This leads me to believe, if I take the sentence entirely literally and assume no mistakes were made, that he paid $400 for one unit.

Yeah, that happened. In-universe it isn't so much necessary as it improves pilot synchronization with the Eva. Out-of-universe, it improves audience synchronization with the fanservice. -

That's more than a new one from NY. I'm tempted, but I'm not sure I'd be convinced that the armor pack will go any better with the S than it will my VF-31F. There's no Orange on Arad's paint scheme.
