My reasoning is that's the kind of business savvy that, we gamers aren't necessarily fond of, but is the reason Nintendo is consistently the richest company in Japan. From my perspective not getting what I was hoping for is preferable to not being to find what I want in stores. And while Sony and Microsoft simply can't put their stuff on shelves Nintendo can and will have product out, and it will look relatively new. They can easily snag some new customers and we few suckers (me) with old, busted systems have something marginally better to grab for. And/or they figured out how to sell me on their old back stock before the new one emerges. I'll just pass this one on to the Niece and Nephew then,.

What if Nintendo did actually have plans for bigger things but various component shortages meant it was easier for them to do a minor refresh with parts they still had readily available instead? I was certainly hoping for a bigger boost but I’ve got an original release Switch that is bowed and warped and this is as decent an excuse to bump up internal memory and increase battery life and screen size even if it isn’t everything I wanted.

Unless you're shipping via freight I doubt it. That hasn't held true for the last nine months since places like Amazon Japan finally figured out international DHL for $7 is a bad idea.

These days shipping is usually so high from Japan ordering domestic is cheaper outside of the three month boat wait.

If the AX is a regular release there's a good chance we can just order the thing at BigBadToyStore now. If the trend holds.

To be honest I’d prefer a non-bundle because I have other Valks I want that neutral colored armor on.

The 31A has very few actual differences to the other 31's. The new AX has more significant changes from any of the previous 31's including the A than the A does from the other previous 31's.

There is more that is different than just colors. The edge of the saw-tooth is extended and had a point to it. The forward stabilizers are larger. The pod has a different load-out and creates a “stinger” look at the rear that isn’t on the original.

Why would it? These aren’t the same as the A. It only makes the previous version more unique.

In what mode? The 31’s ankles/hips can not handle the weight of the armor parts long term.

I rearranged it to hide the arm.

I wish there was a better way to adjust the stand but I think I found a good way to pose the figure and show off the Gauntlet too.

So Thanos has it’s problems but HOLY CRAP does he have shelf presence.

I didn’t think Destro was much of an improvement and I’m pretty happy with Cobra Commander as he is now. I’d only buy one’s that are specifically the Ninja’s (because I always get those) or figures I feel are absolutely superior. This was also easier to pre-order than a Hasbro figure…

Mezco Thanos and SHF Avengers Assemble Thor arrived while I was out of town this week. They both look great but have some unfortunate pose-ability issues. I will not use the Infinity Gauntlet on Thanos, the connection point is the stupidest design possible and it will not stay on. Incredible sculpting though, especially that grinning face.
