Considering the picture of the toy is taken from a higher angle and the legs are turned back there's no real way to make a fair comparison about the size of the feet in the drawing you posted versus how the toy looks. From that vantage more of the foot is obscured, therefore it will look smaller... and what's the the foot fetish on this board anyway?

I want one (or seven.. let's be honest) of these things in non-horrible colors so badly.

I'd buy that over the red and yellow one. But only if it came with a "Fabulous" plaque.

Release it in black, I prefer it to that bright orange.

I used to like the 171 more than the 17 but the more I look at the two side-by-side the more I'm digging the chunkiness of the 17, especially the Battroid. The Gerwalk is especially weak on both modes (imo) which is usually my favorite mode, so there's no tie breaker there for me. The Fighter mode of the 17 also more closely resembles a real-world fighter which is also a plus to me personally.

Yeah, the SDF-1 sold well. Go figure, make a rock solid product and fans will buy it... the Monster would be no different and it's my favorite Destroid.

This is pretty amazing so far. I can't wait to see this thing finished.

I think I'd like a V2 YF-19 first. Followed very closely by the VF-19EF.

Yup, as it stands with this color I will not be buying one of these. Red and Yellow are two colors I dislike the most, combining them does nothing for this Valk for me. I'd love to support the work but I don't want to own this color scheme at all.

Damn, it's amazing how fast/efficient Fed Ex can be. Packing slip says it shipped the 19th. I just got it here, today, in Albuquerque, NM. Three days from across the world! Now if only my 22 Max's ankles were more sturdy this Gerwalk mode would stay put...

I haven't got a thing from Fed Ex, but they're promising a delivery on Monday as well.

The little red, white and yellow highlights make a HUGE difference in how the 2000 looks compared to the 3000. Obviously the cost of the 3000 would skyrocket if they painted all of that additional detail but it would make it look a lot less plain against that color scheme.

Sounds like we're all in the same boat. I ordered Thursday night and got my confirmation Friday morning. I'm biting my nails over a few items I've ordered.

It's such a cool toy and well engineered but... it's not my beloved SDF Macross version. I just can't spend the money on the one I don't like as much.

My vote is for Max, I always thought of him as so genuine and humble. A nice guy who could have let ego get the best of him for pretty much being able to beat anyone else.

That doesn't change the fact some of us find the paint scheme to be an eyesore. I'd rather have the thing in Greyscale like the prototype to Red and Yellow regardless of what that shopped pic looks like.

Comparing that CAD art to the VF-25 it looks like except for the wings swept forward and that it looks like the wings recess into the body in one of the modes (probably Battroid) it's pretty much a straight up 25 conversion with canards and the wings swept forward. I'd wager Gerwalk and Battroid look nearly identical to the 25. What this may do is give Bandai an excuse to fix their sub-par original 25 mold so newer iterations can use a better body while keeping the fundamentals the same. Either that or they'll reuse the old molds for this, which I skipped because you couldn't even get a decent A-stance in Gerwalk which is my personal favorite configuration.
