  1. You must have read my response wrong. I was only referring to the differences in that movie posted about the Pachinko Machine and nothing else.
  2. Except the Macross in that movie is different in a lot of ways. It's got the bigger at the end booms of the DYRL version, and it's got the arm attachments as well. However, the rest of it is pretty similar to SDF Macross. The biggest difference is that the bridge/head is in proportion to the rest of the body instead of that pea for a head on the DYRL version which I personally dislike. Mostly, all that CG animation has told me is SDF Macross needs to be redone because it looked pretty cool just for an advertisement.
  3. The more I look at those pictures the less accurate the Cruiser mode looks. The legs aren't splayed out quite as far as they are in the line-art, they're always mildly in an "A stance" even while in cruiser. That's one of the things I didn't care for in the DYRL version actually, it looked too much like a giant robot laying down. It's actually closer to the SDF Macross version in this regard.
  4. And speaking of which, where are all of the photos of completed kits for those of us who couldn't afford one?
  5. That's a great review and the pictures of the toy look awesome. Unfortunately I still can't buy it, too much money and I've always disliked the way the ARMD carries look on in in Cruiser mode.
  6. I was going to say, the extra engines built into the wings that everybody around here hates so much almost looks like the engines from the Tornado Pack were built into the plane this time. At certain angles I like the way this thing looks, at others I hate it. Would be nice to see the other two modes as well, maybe it really shines in Battroid and Gerwalk or something.
  7. Interesting. I can't wait to see how this works, especially in some of the other modes.
  8. Yeah, I've been wondering where all of the completed versions of this model and the accompanying pictures have gone off to as well? Was really looking forward to some pics and I couldn't buy one of these things myself.
  9. Mostly because I'm a fan of blue and white jets. I don't really care for a Milia 19 but the paint scheme from the M3 for Max's VF-11 looks pretty cool to me. They have the molds, might as well do some repaints and get a few of us suckers to buy them and pay for the molds a little more. VF-X and M&M, a few of us will buy. M3 M&M's
  10. Yamato should hire you as their marketing guy, every photo you take makes me ache to get one of these toys... and I already own some of them! Seriously, Yamato should hook you up with one of everything they sell on the condition you post photos like these because you take some spectacular photos. You'd break so many hearts and bank accounts (and possibly a few marriages.)
  11. I believe the reason was something similar to that.
  12. I never said it was a good idea. But Yamato did design the VF-11B (and the C) without considering the armor. I've looked at the design of the armor and the toy and think there is a way to design something that will work, it's a matter of how good it will look and if Yamato even deems it worthwhile.
  13. Although it looks like they could make the armor already fit on the regular VF-11, who knows if it would really be done. Likely they'd have to retool a few bits as Yamato never designed the VF-11 to work with any sort of armor. I'd expect with new valk to accommodate armor + armor we're looking at more like $250. If they bother to consider it to begin with.
  14. They would get me to buy three more VF-11's if they did that.
  15. No. "The MOST number of votes but no sign of it being made."
  16. I have two of them and the legs are fine on both. I'm fighting getting a third just so I can have one in each mode. I keep hoping they'll make a Milia/Max/Pink pecker version so i can justify the purchase with new paint job a little easier.
  17. That's true, I forgot about that one. I'd be more interested in that then the Fire Valk. We'll see how hard Yamato milks this mold.
  18. The only problem is their wings aren't shaped the same.
  19. This picture is the reason why I like the TV version better. The flight deck is uniformly flat just like on a modern carrier.
  20. Man, that thing is cool looking. I wish I had the skill/patience to pull that off. Makes me wish Yamato would make one, I'd buy it.
  21. That's a third vote from me. I felt the same way about the DYRL version, looks like a robot laying down with the arms sticking out the sides.
  22. I really hate the Kai's colors but if I don't buy this awesome mold they're less likely to make anything else with it. Ugh, decisions, decisions.
  23. That's just promo pics. I want to see what the talented crew around here do with them. And the excellent poses/photos they come up with.
  24. I just want to see somebodies completed kits. I know it takes time but it's the only way I'm going to be able to see one of these things.
