  1. They've already got a big chunk of it done with that Pachinko machine...
  2. I see what you mean now. Yeah, that would be pretty cool. I would be far more interested in Battle 7 or Battle Galaxy then the Macross Quarter (which I find a stupid/lazy design.) I actually really love how the Northamptons from Mac 7 look even though they aren't of the transforming variety. I'd buy on in scale with the other You always manage to sex up that Gerwalk mode.
  3. That's precisely my feeling. I don't give a crap who the pilot is if I like the way the Valk looks. The pilot can be whoever I want to. Every single Valk I own could be simultaneously piloted by Bigger Johnson for all I care.
  4. Why do you want them to come out with a new carrier? I thought the first one reviewed very well.
  5. I like the colors you chose. Especially that subdued yellow. Unfortunately I'm afraid it's going to be more of a bright yellow like what we see on the VF-19S.
  6. That's a good point and I hadn't considered that before pre-ordering at amiami.
  7. I'm going to roll dice and see if they release an armored version later.
  8. According to this lineart those extra long slots are accurate.
  9. It looks like from the angle of the ankles it's pretty sturdy in that pose even as low as the nose is. Is that the case? That looks just like any classic, deep A-stance I can think of for a 19 in Gerwalk. I'm not sure what the issue with the ankles are in that mode. I could see some fancier positions in Battroid being an issue however.
  10. I was never a fan of the SV-51 but with that Gerwalk pic you could make me a believer.
  11. I wasn't planning on getting an Ozma, but now...
  12. October 21st huh? That means it may actually show up right on my Birthday!
  13. What pose are you going for exactly? I tend to put my VF-1's in the deepest A stances and the only way to do that and get the look I like is by splaying the legs and adjusting the ankles in (as best I can considering how limited the range is on the VF-1's.) It seems like this would actually help me more than the ankles going forward or back. I don't have a Kai so I can't say for sure but it appears in that video they adjusted the legs/ankles in exactly the same manner I always have to get a deeper stance. And remember I'm Mr. Gerwalk, that's my favorite mode so I tend to play with that mode the most.
  14. Against all better judgement I'm going to wind up with all three of these I think.
  15. Can I just thank you for spelling "VoilĂ " correct and not confusing it for some nonsense word beginning with a "W."
  16. Damn, I can't wait for my S, F and P after watching those videos. Something I did notice in that second video is they're using the fact the ankles tilt left and right farther than forward/back plus the legs being splayed to make an aggressive a stance instead of adjusting the ankles forward/back to get the same pose. It's not impossible to get something really aggressive you just can't do it with the legs straight forward/back.
  17. I'd love some alternate paint schemes as well but with the prices as high as they are I'm skeptical the market would even bother bearing that.
  18. The toes have clickable positions? That's way better then those damn floppy toes on the Hi-metal VF-1's.
  19. Does the "toe" joint make up for the lack of ankle movement?
  20. I thought there was something about increasing range of motion as well but maybe I'm going crazy.
  21. That is a pretty good idea. Though we did still find ways to break it in many spots.
  22. No offense to anyone here but I've always been curious what the definition of "force" has been for most of the guys around here. It makes me think back to a video I saw concerning men and the complaints women had about sex with them. 90% of men thought they were being gentle when in reality it was more like they were punching a woman in the crotch. I know based on a lot of the video reviews I've seen I've always felt like there has been way too much force applied to most of the toys during transformations and wouldn't be surprised if some of those toys eventually broke.
  23. I'm pretty sure Graham already said the ankles are going to be ball joint but that Yamato is reworking them to be better.
  24. To be honest a few of my 1/60 V2 Yammie VF-1's also have wings that are curved up a little so it's not like this issue is limited to Bandai. Both my 1S TV Roy and 1A Anglebirds have slightly upturned wings.
  25. I went back and looked at the two schematics and I really don't think it would take that much to rework the nose for a 17T. While it's true the neck/cockpit need to be longer the transformation is the same and the addition of extra long neck also makes hiding the extra long cockpit easy and doesn't change the transformation in the torso at all. It's still more tricky than the VF-19 changes but shouldn't be too difficult. It would still be easier to just slap the paint scheme on a regular 17 and change the head though.
