  1. That Valk's feet aren't red like Ronalds! I'm passing on this Valk.
  2. I'll bet that's exactly the same dark gray and yellow color as Gamlin's 22.
  3. There goes my speculation about the super parts being included... I wonder how much that bundle is going to cost us now?
  4. Maybe that's why it costs more? Wishful thinking I'm sure, but would be a nice surprise. You beat me to it. I noticed that very same thing.
  5. Really? What about glue and sanding and all of that? And why aren't there more pictures of these things!?!
  6. I'm more interested in what Yamato's reaction to a 1/60 Fz-109 was.
  7. How likely are those hints to pan out now? If the 17 sells well there will likely be a 17T and the 11Kai to completely Sound Force. I would imagine those would be made first before any theoretical 4 is done.
  8. I've been waiting for one of those too.
  9. The last time I had something shipped was via EMS and it was 3200 yen which is $42. I added that to the total cost of the Valks based on pre-order prices at Amiami and HLJ for shipment to the US. That's 22,550 or $297 for shipping for the VF-19.
  10. Based on what I usually pay for shipping from HLJ, this is to the US so you're mileage may vary, I estimate the VF-17 will be $325. Depending on who you are that $25 up or down may or may not matter. The change in the value of yen and the US dollar really is murder right now.
  11. You asked. I replied. It's not cheap. The way I look at it, there aren't too many more of these things to buy anyway. Instead of three (or six) VF-1's I'll have one VF-19.
  12. The difference is the head configuration and paint color. No more different then the VF-1 schemes/configurations.
  13. Mine was held in LA and they never even got around to updating the status until after it had already arrived at my house. It could be the same for the both of you. I haven't noticed any paint chips on mine either but I will admit I'm not nearly as precise with these things as other people are. Did anybody have any problems with really tight joints on their 25? The entire left side of the thing was a bear. Popping the leg down from the knee was a bitch. Separating the hip on the let-side was a bitch. Adjusting anything on the arm was a real chore to not feel like I was going to break the thing. The right side felt fine, I'm even slightly concerned the right side foot could be a little bit too loose.
  14. I tried to take some extra pictures for everyone waiting/living vicariously through the more lucky of us but I don't have any sort of set-up for taking professional pictures and the best lighting in my house is beneath the skylight in my kitchen. Unfortunately coupling this damn early sundown in winter-time with when I get home from work means I can't take any pictures with decent lighting until the weekend.
  15. I managed to give it a quick once over last night between fidgeting with my VF-25. It's not a bad read but could use an editor in several spots.
  16. Just got a call, mine showed up about two hours ago. Can't wait to get home (and finish my 2 hours of exercise) before playing with it.
  17. I got one of my 11C's on discount from HLJ but it sure wasn't 130. I think I got it for 150 or 160. I wish I had grabbed two at the time.
  18. The main rifle does fit into the leg though it's through a hatch in the back behind the knee instead of popping out the side like the animation.
  19. I'd have to say it's probably my 1/60 V2 Yammie VF-1A Max. He was always my favorite character and I was never able to get any sort of VF toy when I was a kid (not even a Transformers knock-off) so it meets two goals at once.
  20. Anxiously awaiting mine while it sits in customs in LA right now. It shouldn't take too long to get from California to New Mexico but it's the "quality" of service here in Albuquerque that has me the most worried. I wish it were coming Fed Ex.
  21. Look at those 3 C's! I wish I had a third one... You know, thinking about it (and looking at your little collection) Yamato has done an amazing job recreating every line as full as possible. WE've got the 19S and F coming (plus the P), 17S and D coming, plus they're thinking about a 17T and 11Kai. Other than the VF11 Protect Armor and the VF-5000 that's the ENTIRE Macross 7 lineup. That's impressive.
  22. My payment is in too. I hope it shows up before next weekend!
  23. Does that mean this thing is officially released and I can eagerly await my shipment from Amiami?
  24. I guess the people who called it a "half-assed effort" turned out to be vindicated.
  25. What did you use to plug the screw holes? The surface looks immaculate.
