  1. I can't say the particular "camera-work" is fantastic but the actual animation and movement looks really great and the model+texture fit pretty well with that background. I am impressed with your skills. From models to texture to animated in such a short amount of time! It's not a transforming model, but based on what I've seen here, i can't wait to see what you do with a V.2. I watched this again and the markings on the textures may actually be a little bit too subtle.
  2. I don't know how often that website is updated or if other things on that list have been re-issued at some point either. The YF-19 has made appearance after appearance over the years so maybe I am wrong about this too.
  3. Of note, Max and Milia's VF-1J's. Don't count on re-issues of those I suppose.
  4. Woah, that really sucks. I was curious/worried about that particular bar based on how hard a time I had swinging it down. Was it like this right out of the box or did it snap when you were trying to adjust the hips farther down?
  5. You're very tiring to deal with. Especially your use of bold to, I assume, suggest you're more correct. I already explained the use of your quote in my last response. My reply, after you WTF'ed me did include your quote, but not the original which is what you took offense to. Don't pick and choose which response you want to protest and argue against. As for the rest, you're attributing "acting up" with my attempt at humor. Which ironically would suit your comment "Stop watching Dr Phil and ASSUMING you know what is in people's minds" in regards to me.
  6. I'm not acting up. My original post wasn't even directed at you. There was no reply tag with your name on it. It was directed at people in general. You got all up on my response so I pointed out a bit of the emerging paranoia as expressed by one of your comments.
  7. "I very much doubt the excuse of the lead designer due to his personal preference over a set standard." If it's to save money, then you've already decided they'll try to do this again. The Yen isn't getting cheaper. People are already acting like every release after this will not have any tampo printing regardless of the valk and it's misplaced.
  8. Well, we've only seen this happen once. Unless someone REALLY complains or Graham points out some of us have been complaining we're probably guaranteed they aren't tampo printing the D variation either. But until we see another Yammie without any tampo it's silly to assume every single release after will be this way. The 19F and P will likely have their tampo as the S already has it. We've yet to see anything about the VF-4, which is the most telling because it's new and doesn't have a process in place for adding tampo or not. Until then remembering the old saying, when you assume you make an ass of u and me.
  9. I'm personally happy there are no markings. I think it looks better stripped and never really cared for the placement of the kites on the lineart either. I've since looked up a lot of markings for real world stealth craft and tried out a few things but really haven't found anything I think really looks that appealing. Things that might look good in Fighter look like awful forearm/shoulder tatoos in Battroid. The way the surfaces are used on this one makes the use of decals really awkward. I'd be intersted to see what others have come up with.
  10. I kinda wish I had known Yamato was postponing the other releases otherwise I might have ordered an Ozma. However, I'm not interested in the armor. I really don't care for the Fast pack or Amored look on the Fronteir Valks.
  11. Speaking of releases. Does this mean that super packs for the 17 will be held until later this year as well?
  12. I don't recall Graham saying this. He said it wasn't because of something Bandai was releasing.
  13. So can you give us a hint what it is? We have to wait almost a whole year for the 17D and 19F? It's not because of the VF4? Is this hold up Mac7 related still?
  14. I've been considering taking up 3D modelling to recreate something just like that.
  15. No, it's the cannons next to the cockpit/in the chest. Put a dab of glue and they stick just fine. It's just an oddity they come off. I'm sure they're all held on by friction and a few of us are unlucky enough the plastic pieces are a little bit too large. It's a minor gripe detail, but surprising given the attention to all of the other engineering on these things.
  16. Well, no, I'm not starving and covered in flies.... however when anyone, anywhere pays for something they'd like some guarantee of craftsmanship.
  17. It's minor. Much easier to fix. But I am going to point out at a premium price I expect premium results and things like little loose cannon bits are sloppy.
  18. It's one of those things, when you're spending several hundred dollars on a toy every little thing helps. Something as simple as those cannons falling off seems pretty sloppy. Though it sounds like it's only happened to two of us so far.
  19. My cannons are loose just like this too. Not bad for $300 huh?
  20. The less gimmicks the cheaper it will be. And here's a thought... it's a VF-4 toy ACTUALLY being made. That's pretty much the ENTIRE gimmick.
  21. They sound like a bag of chips being manipulated.
  22. Here's a pic I took of my 17 and 19 back to back. My display really needs some lighting.
  23. The man's got a point. If you're going to go obscure, go all out with it. On the other hand they really are just the VF-25 FAST packs.
