I guess because the B is a two seater version of the A/S I don't find it nearly as interesting as the 0D which has a lot of different payload configs and overall looks different too.

If you ask me the 17's Battroid mode definitely is the more imposing of the two. If you're going to leave it on the shelf in that mode. -

Overall the 19S is more solid in all three modes. However I've never had more fun posing a Valk in Battroid then the 17. So I guess it depends on what you want to do with it. If you want it completley solid in all three forms (give or take an ankle issue) and you're going to transform it back and forth again the 19 is your best bet. If you usually keep your toys in one mode and like to do different Battroid Poses I think the 17 is more fun in that regard and the other two modes look pretty good too. -
Preordered. The stories should, at the very least, be interesting reads since we're dealing with purely terrestrial and relatively modern proceedings. It should be fun to see what fiction they come up with. I hope the CG/pics are up to snuff. The last four books illustrations were far too dark and their CG/texture work could be improved. Let's hope for some spectacular 0D pics as well.

I always look at the book and it usually takes me a half hour or so just because I'll look back and forth from the book to the toy just to double/triple check I'm not miss understanding and about to break something. That being said, the first time I transformed this one it took me an hour because things on it were so tight I didn't want to accidentally break anything pulling too hard so I took my time. -
Wow, you're going to have to redo the entire leg aren't you? At first I thought all you had to do was tweak it to accomodate the delta wing but then I raelized there's those extra stabilizers right at the hips. I hope you include instructions who to switch this stuff out too! So this will be a one seater variant of a D then? I can't wait to see what this looks like. There may be a run on 0A's very soon. LOL What modeling software are you using for this project?

I think the color scheme still looks good. Just a few things like the kites and stuff need to be a shade or two darker just to show up a little bit better. I say go nuts on the animation. I'd love to see a transforming one in a fight.

It looks like the V.1 is sulking.

Hopefully that's the case with the 25S as well, I've already got an F. I'm, however, not a fan of any of the armors so if I'm forced to buy a bundled set for extra i may have to see how I feel about it.
-
We're supremely off topic now. VF-25S! Still want one... not paying $300 though. (That makes this on topic.) Graham said there was something non-Yamato but Macross 7 related being released later this year and Yamato was advised to hold off on any more Mac7 releases until then.
-
Yeah, that's what I read too! If this is the case i'll be buying up another 0A just for conversion!

So one of them is probably that Phalanx Destroid kit. The Regult model obviously has not sold well enough for a full toy to be produced. Maybe some more VF-1 repaints? Since it's the 30 year anniversary I could see them making a special repaint just like for the 25th. A huge off chance of an SDF-1 repaint in SDFM colors with Daedalus and Prometheus instead of ARMS (which I wouldn't want because the carrier mode is so vastly different looking)? Graham said that they weren't interested in Zero anymore, unless his comment about wanting updates to the shoulders a few days back was a hint (but who can tell, and I'm not betting on that.) At this point the other worhtwhile things to add to zero are a D variant or the reactive armor. There was talk of the VF-5000 for awhile but... that's also largely Mac7. They're done with the VF-11 so no armor there, plus that was a Mac7 thing again. Some people want and X-9 Ghost but I don't see that happening either. What's left?

Looks like he's smuggling raisins too. -
Of something? Related to what?

I skipped it because I thought there would be a deluge of VF-17's and VF-19's coming.

I so effing should not have passed this one up.

I can't say the particular "camera-work" is fantastic but the actual animation and movement looks really great and the model+texture fit pretty well with that background. I am impressed with your skills. From models to texture to animated in such a short amount of time! It's not a transforming model, but based on what I've seen here, i can't wait to see what you do with a V.2. I watched this again and the markings on the textures may actually be a little bit too subtle.

I don't know how often that website is updated or if other things on that list have been re-issued at some point either. The YF-19 has made appearance after appearance over the years so maybe I am wrong about this too.
-
Of note, Max and Milia's VF-1J's. Don't count on re-issues of those I suppose.

Woah, that really sucks. I was curious/worried about that particular bar based on how hard a time I had swinging it down. Was it like this right out of the box or did it snap when you were trying to adjust the hips farther down? -

You're very tiring to deal with. Especially your use of bold to, I assume, suggest you're more correct. I already explained the use of your quote in my last response. My reply, after you WTF'ed me did include your quote, but not the original which is what you took offense to. Don't pick and choose which response you want to protest and argue against. As for the rest, you're attributing "acting up" with my attempt at humor. Which ironically would suit your comment "Stop watching Dr Phil and ASSUMING you know what is in people's minds" in regards to me. -

I'm not acting up. My original post wasn't even directed at you. There was no reply tag with your name on it. It was directed at people in general. You got all up on my response so I pointed out a bit of the emerging paranoia as expressed by one of your comments. -

"I very much doubt the excuse of the lead designer due to his personal preference over a set standard." If it's to save money, then you've already decided they'll try to do this again. The Yen isn't getting cheaper. People are already acting like every release after this will not have any tampo printing regardless of the valk and it's misplaced. -

Well, we've only seen this happen once. Unless someone REALLY complains or Graham points out some of us have been complaining we're probably guaranteed they aren't tampo printing the D variation either. But until we see another Yammie without any tampo it's silly to assume every single release after will be this way. The 19F and P will likely have their tampo as the S already has it. We've yet to see anything about the VF-4, which is the most telling because it's new and doesn't have a process in place for adding tampo or not. Until then remembering the old saying, when you assume you make an ass of u and me. -

I'm personally happy there are no markings. I think it looks better stripped and never really cared for the placement of the kites on the lineart either. I've since looked up a lot of markings for real world stealth craft and tried out a few things but really haven't found anything I think really looks that appealing. Things that might look good in Fighter look like awful forearm/shoulder tatoos in Battroid. The way the surfaces are used on this one makes the use of decals really awkward. I'd be intersted to see what others have come up with.
