So here's the real question.... how many VF-4's Kicker? I'll be disappointed at anything less than a 20 grand armada. LOL

*IF* Yamato ever released a 1/3000 SDFM version of the SDF-1 I would pay $500.

Huh, I'm all confused. I could have sworn the F was October and the D was August or September but sure enough the websites are saying the F is August. That's a hell of a streak really. F beginning of September. G beginning of October (likely anyway), D beginning of November, P beginning of December and VF-4 in January... this is murder man. And that's not even considering the possibility of Luca's 25, or 171 and/or a CF 171 appearing sometime between now and then.

The chest guns on mine easily slide off. I had to glue them down so they would stop.

I don't know, this might be some sort of numbers test too. If they see numbers high enough they might decide to pull the trigger and release more? I don't know how these business decisions work.

As far as I can tell we've all pre-ordered via Nippon-Yasan and they haven't required payment yet. I can't speak about Yamato proper. How many?

The shipping was higher for my 171 as well, they asked if I wanted an automatic upgrade to Fed Ex later once the item was about to ship otherwise I could get a credit on another Macross item. So it's high now but you might be able to angle it to your liking later.

I went ahead and bit on Nippon-Yasan as well. At $400 with shipping I couldn't justify more than one like I thought I would though. After seeing the number for real on screen I couldn't pull the trigger on two.

As long as I like the scheme I don't care about who "piloted" what machine. My love of a design is entirely separate from any of that stuff. As long as it looks cool I don't really care where it comes from or if I've seen an episode/movie/video game/comic/whatever that it comes from.

Are you kidding? Look at the line art. In order to do the 17 correct it would need whole new legs in Battroid mode alone. They go from impossibly flat in fighter mode to ridiculously HUGE in battroid. The 19 was far easier to get the proportions close in all three modes then the 17.

I thought I was the only person on the planet who kept their 11's (to say nothing of the C variety) Fast Pack free. Hmm, and another interesting point.... we both live in the same city. -

I don't think Graham as been hinting at that at all. Have I missed a quote somewhere? The last i remember he said Yamato was done with the Zero license.

Yamato would have done well to copy Bandai's (I know they couldn't see it at the time) idea of having that collapsible bit back behind the shoulders to allow the backpack to sit closer. They also needed a better connection for the back half of the thing in Battroid. It already sags a tad, I'm shuddering to think what it will be like with the super packs attached.
