There's a lot of us (most who have posted) here who think this could be bad. How bad do you think it's going to get? Poor directing? Bad acting? Painfully cheesy/forced dialog? Lame/silly characters and situations that don't fit? Stupid story-lines? Inconsistencies?

If anything is has a better chance of happening now then when Lucas was in charge.

I don't get it. The prequels sucked. And it's also reported that George Lucas will still stay on as a Creative Director. So the worlds will still be built with his direction. It's just the scripts will be written by (hopefully) talented people and directed by (hopefully) talented people... but when it was under Lucas there wasn't any hope of that at all. So there's a chance it gets better. Though, in this day and age, why bother with movies? Long form television has been gaining traction and shows like Battlestar have shown you can have compelling sci-fi with pretty damn good production values, and that was on Sci-Fi. If the writing/acting was good and a major network picked it up you could have a REALLY spectacular show.

I was just re-reading this. Battle 7 is a cool idea but... SDFM version of SDF-1 first. Mac 7 version of VF-14 I'd buy. The M3 version I wouldn't do.

When it was spread out between October and December it was okay. As a HUGE lump sum in addition to Christmas spending not so much. Good thing I'm not married with kids or it would be a no go... i just realized I pre-ordered a WiiU too. Good Lord, I have to cancel something there.

I was going to say the directions they gave you aren't necessarily true. Everybody knows California gets earthquakes so they sell items to prepare for it. I highly doubt I could walk into Home Depot in Albuquerque and pick some of that up.

Yeah, except for the 171 armor parts, 17D with Super Packs and 19P as well... it's not going to feel great at all.

I don't think it's going to be a "dismantling transformation." I was only speculating the cockpit came off like the VF-1 did. Technically you could transform it without the cockpit connected too, that doesn't make it a dismantling transformation though.

I never realized just how closely the VF-17's nose resembles the F-35's.

Would you be kind enough to translate some more of that interview kyekye? Well, I wasn't calling it a "parts-former" or anything. I just thought the cockpit might be remove-able like on the VF-1. In all the transformation there doesn't look very complicated though.

I suppose the argument is that some people like the "clean" look without the hard points but others want to have the missiles loaded up. So they tried to make both parties happy with some very poor engineering as the solution. It also means they sell more accessories because each wing with hard points is unique.

Why would it? No other non-hero Valk has had that much demand. Hell, even semi-hero valks like the VF-11B didn't do great (yeah, it was too expensive too.)

I like the white one in general but I think the white one looks better in Battroid mode. I'll keep this one in Fighter or Gerwalk.

It's funny that I find Kai's 19 such an eyesore but that I'm looking forward to buying a pastel green valk instead.

Other than this one having Grey plastic instead of black that's the same thing I have on both of my EX'es. Maybe the design is refined/improved but there's nothing extra going on there.
