  1. Sweet Murphy! It's nice to see pictures of the Regult for once. Can you take some more pics?
  2. I would say to keep enjoying your PC and forget about whatever like/dislikes you might've had?
  3. I may be the only one but I'm excited to pick up my WiiU in six days. It's not all kids games, they've got that Blacksy Opsey Twosie game as well! Not that it matters to me. I go to Nintendo for weird ideas, not for super computers. I'll leave the "regular" stuff to my PC and 360.
  4. So from what I can tell the movie was pretty good. Unfortunately I didn't realize there would be that many people packed into a theater on a Sunday morning at 10:30 so I didn't so much see the movie as I did crane my neck up while having the lower right corner of the movie mashed into my face.
  5. I agree. Somehow, even though everybody seems to hate him, I get the impression finding Luca is going to be hardest of all.
  6. I wonder how those leg parts are supposed to attach.
  7. So far I'm still sticking with the little Die cast Matchbox one my parents used to bribe me into getting my tetanus shots back before starting Kindergarten.
  8. To be honest I don't ever remember seeing them but other people have said they have.
  9. I'm still waiting on my SDFM centerpiece. I never liked the DYRL iteration.
  10. Other than era, since Casino Royale is supposed to be his first mission and Quantum comes right after you could say that EVERY movie comes after those two.
  11. This album is kinda different from their only other one, Pursuit of Happiness. There's more progressive house type tracks on their first Pursuit. These tracks here have obviously been influenced by both Later Productions as Groove Armada and the emergence of Nudisco.
  12. Connery gets the nod for being the first. However, I think he's in the worst position. At least for Roger Moore his movies were camp but he always played that up with a wink and smile as well so he fits in with his continuity. Connery was sometimes too serious, but the movie around him was stupid/flimsy, so it looks even worse. I'm very excited to see this new one, maybe partly (it's more than partly) because I share the same name as the actor playing Bond. Really? I thought this third one was supposed to be a clean break from the last two? (1/2 of Groove Armada). They had an unreleased album? Just the other day I was thinking it was a bummer another Weekend Players Album never happened. Oh, and thanks for the link. I'm very interested in the whole album.
  13. I see what you're saying. Yeah, of the group Carl is the first to do that.
  14. Huh, I think comparing this new pic to the older painted resin kit it's clear (in my opinion) all of these shiny plastic Valks would look so much better matte instead.
  15. Dang, I was hoping in white it wouldn't come off as so shiny.
  16. Rick did the same thing with Shane, Sophia and several other prison inmates already.
  17. It's already deviated several times from the comics and the writers of the show have said while they hit the main beats for fan service they don't want it to follow the comics or else nothing will be a surprise.
  18. What ends up happening in the confrontation in the Comic? I can't imagine things going well for Rick in the show. The Governor is twisted but he's calm, calculating and is well armed. Rick is losing his marbles fast and doesn't have any weapons. Unless some super-animal instinct kicks in he's on the losing side of the the odds by a wide margin.
  19. So I've figured this whole Hollywood thing out. When I was a kid, sixth-grade era, I thought it was cool to take these different middle-ages/fantasy/whatever stories and inject my "super awesome-hip-modern" attitude into them. Then I grew up. I realized they were bad ideas and really stupid stories. Apparently (I'm now 32) there's a whole slew of sixth-grade level intellectual writers in Hollywood (probably now all around 32) who had the same idea but never moved on AND convinced some other jack-ass to give them a ton of money to write crap I rejected for being drivel when I was still in middle-school.
  20. And Graham made some vague comments about the 0D still being a possibility.
  21. I'll agree, a good portion is pretty bad. But you even admitted there's some joy to be found and I would argue that means it isn't all garbage. Despite the writing in the X-Wing novels the idea is brilliant and the execution was a lot of fun. That's, IMO, what a live action Star Wars television show should be personally. And I think that the Zahn novels right after the original trilogy have a lot of good ideas. The state of the galaxy after a war of that magnitude and a charismatic, genius leader in Thrawn who isn't at all a Jedi but still a huge threat. Things don't have to be word-for-word recreations they just need to borrow the good ideas and I believe there are many.
  22. Agreed. They could easily stamp this one out right now. Though I think they should update a few of the bits on it, like the arms, which aren't nearly as poseable as they could be today.
  23. So you guys who have already seen it think it's pretty good, huh? That's good to hear. It's not out until a week from Friday in the states. I can't wait to see it.
  24. Wow, is that a toy/model? The only thing that gives it away is the tires/landing gear.
  25. Every last word? There's some good stuff in there too. It's not all garbage.
