So have a lot of our members VF-4's as well. It's not just you, we're all getting screwed here. My P made it by the 29th and it cleared customs the next week, everything else (17D and 2 4G's) hit the 30th and 31st and have been stuck there for seven days now.

USPS in general is complete ass, especially once it hits New Mexico. However this LA customs place is really pissing me off. Both VF-4's have been sitting there since the 30th and my 17D has been sitting there since the 31st. Oddly enough my 19P arrived there on the 29th and made it through relatively quickly (I received it Thursday) although the USPS website didn't update that it had arrived in New Mexico until it was already dropped off at my house (one of the few advantages to taking care of your aging parents is that they can answer the door during the day and sign for packages.) This is pretty much why i try to choose FedEx whenever I can. I've never had this problem with them ever.

It'll be hard to see because the 19F is a lot darker but I'll try some side-by-side comparisons of the odd fitting pieces. It's like there's more of a gap around the pieces on the P then the S/F.

I got my 19P in the mail yesterday. Very cool looking. I'm happy to have something will the long wings and all of the canards as I think it looks better, though I can appreciate the more streamlined 19F/S as well now. I've noticed the panels don't seem to fit as well though. The hatches for the landing gear on the shins don't seem to line up as nice as on the F/S. The cover for the missiles on the calves don't seem to fit as well either. I haven't had time to attempt transformation yet. Hopefully I don't encounter the same issues Renato had (or worse.) As soon as I get some time in the daytime I'll snap a few pics.

I'm getting really tired of waiting for US customs to hurry the hell up and release these things. I've got two VF-4's and a 17D that have been sitting there for over a week now. The 19P somehow slipped through fine.

I can't believe both of mine are still held up in customs in LA. So frustrating.

I do like the way this fighter looks. Much more so then the YF-29 which was way too far into Super Robot territory in my estimation.

Both of mine are held over in Japan right now. The 171 parts made it over in three days. My 17D and 19P are sitting in LA right now. But NY was too slow with the two 4's.

I agree, my set just showed up today. My left leg armor doesn't like to stay attached either. The mid-shin booster doesn't seem to be shaped quite right like the right leg shin booster is. Rotating those legs into place with the extra bulk is scary. I used the new pins and the right wing doesn't like to stay in as well as the old wing with the old pin. I think it's an issue with how that wing is molded. I'm personally not concerned with "gimmicks" as the gimmick to me is that the 171 is armored and looks loaded for bare.
