  1. I'll take a speedball versus not having speedball at all. They haven't really got the colors for any of the new warriors correct so far anyway.
  2. The classic era Batman/Two-Face two-pack up for pre-order tomorrow is pretty interesting looking to me.
  3. I have always been a fan of the Ninja's so Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are enticing but the only thing I really find interesting is their take on Robin. Don't care about movie stuff, was never a Crow fan and can't really see the point in the Turtles, though I like the four of them in the classic comic book pose in the right photo. I personally have zero need for another Spider-Man. I'd rather know when the previous pre-orders will finally be delivered, though. I've run up against several massive financial sink-holes and have already had to cancel some of the old pre-orders for fear they'll dump three figures in the same month (I dropped '89 bats for one.)
  4. That's not how Wolf 359 went down...

    Bandai DX VF-31

Pure selfishness. I can live vicariously through your review.
  6. They probably want to see how well this one sells first.
  7. Just imagine if people had gotten their wish about a 10”/12” Legioss. You’d have a 36” Tread with a 46” wing span.

    Arcadia VF-5000G

That's not bad. I don't know if I like it as much as the blue on white though. The blue on white harkens back to classic Max. The extra beige highlights on the nose and the joints do make a nice accent that isn't present on the white and blue/red versions.
  9. I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and say $350-$400. Although it is size-ably larger the transformation mechanism doesn't seem as necessarily complicated as the Legioss either. I wonder how soon this will go up for pre-order? Unlike the Arcadia 5000 that is still taped together this looks like it's pretty solid now. I could see this being a late 22/early 23 release unlike the 5000 which is earliest December 23.

I was about to ask if there were variant liveries. I’m down for the grey/yellow and the blue striped versions.

Size isn’t the only determining factor in price though. This looks like a VF-1 but the transformation is more complicated.

A bunch of Japanese fans are already asking for a 3000 now too. I chimed in praising them for making the obscure stuff the true fans want, then suggested a 1/3000 SDFM Macross.

Funny you say that. I was looking at the comments from the Japanese fans and they're making comments about how Arcadia is cool because they're will to sell Valks that aren't as commercially viable.

Wow, I did not expect this to be a thing. It's going to be one expensive thing, however, I can't imagine this is going to be a huge seller.
  15. The first season was Family Guy with a Star Trek look. The second season often times drops the Family Guy pretense and will be a nearly straight Star Trek episode instead. Second season was significantly better than the first was.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Episode 6. After reviewing the episode it’s the only other time they really show off Hayates skills in Battroid.
  17. This is a tried and true mold, not new at all.
  18. And people want Bandai to make a 21...
  19. I’ve criticized his habit of sticking large objects at the end of long thin bits like huge engines on the end of the wings. But that is partly due to Bandai not being able to 1) engineer some sort of stabilization mechanism to compensate or 2) make lighter frakking add-ons.
  20. I find it odd Kawamori came up with this dynamic weapon pod idea yet every implementation is inelegant and/or completely stupid looking.
