That's a cool custom but I've never cared for that finned version of the VF-4.

Hopefully you're right. I'm not sure though. Most people said they weren't asking for Alto's version, they wanted the CF. Combine that with the fact usually CF's don't sell as well as the "Hero" variety Bandai may decide to under produce these even more even though it seems like demand might be higher. At least it seems to be higher around this forum, not that it's a reflection of the rest of the world.

It's good that you'll be getting your VF-4 soon but that means there's no way to tell if they'll let some of our orders languish in the back of a warehouse for a month or two because they're not even consistent with inspecting each item in order. It's complete dumb(emphasis)-luck.

I don't blame them. They took a lot of flak from people on this forum because they couldn't fill those orders.

"US Retailers?" You mean like Big Bad Toystore? I got my second Alto 171 from them. They only got something like 10 in total. And they're very careful about pre-orders for Bandai products after so many were boned by the Ozma and Alto 29 releases.

It's back and forth, back and forth. I called USPS again and gave them my tracking number and she said they haven't received it back from Customs yet and another package from December 17th didn't clear until the 7th of January. I told her I had one package enter the 29th and made it to my house by the 3rd. She said I "got lucky." frakk this government bullshit, FedEx would have fired somebodies ass for this already. Supposedly I have to wait another week. Never again EMS.

I just called LA Customs. They don't track the packages via the shipping numbers, they just inspect and ship back. Customs claims if the package came in December they've already inspected it and sent it back to USPS. I will say the lady at Customs was far more polite then the bitch I spoke with at USPS.

Called the Post Office, I got some lip from the woman there. She gave me the phone number for Customs. Customs claims USPS are liars and it's their fault.

What's funny is that the moment you transform to Gerwalk it becomes irritating and forward heavy instead. It's scary to keep on the stand in fighter and next to impossible to do anything without the stand in Gerwalk.

It's tenuous to get on the stand in Fighter mode. The damn thing is so back heavy in that mode it feels like the neck will snap in half when on the stand. It works but I never leave it there when it's sitting on my shelf. I use it purely for taking photos. I don't have anything like a flightpose stand, which I suppose is a better solution for these things, so when one of the 19's is in fighter mode it sits on it's landing gears for me.

Well unless they were keeping the VF-1's around for specific errands (and they were still around when the VF-4 was flying) you would think they would still need a way for fighters to deploy Reaction Warheads so it may not be a stretch that at the very least they could hold one or two someplace.

The side lasers on this head seem to be attached different. I have a hard time adjusting them unlike on my F and S.

I just realized that i never took an overhead pic of the holes in fighter mode but one of the later Battroid mode pics shows the holes. They're rather large but I imagine if you really didn't want them there you could fill it with modelers putty or something.

Alright, here's some pics I snapped without the speaker fins. I somehow ended up with more Gerwalk than anything else this time. I like the back lit version of this shot better, I feel it highlights the lines of the craft very well, so I chose to post this one instead of the front lit one.

Are you referring to my Battroid photos? I accidentally bent them forward and didn't notice until after the pics were taken. They should be angled back a bit more.
