  1. Well it does, but the taxing things are stuff like having to crank on the graphics card and processor. The drive constantly spinning and the laser on require very little power and give off very little heat.
  2. Looks like Star Wars/Cloverfield with a blatant homage scene to Star Trek 2 and a story that mimes it.
  3. Those super packs would look tonnes better if they folded back and down so they were suspended behind the shoulders instead of sitting so high (I know, it's the design in the Anime too... doesn't make it a good idea.)
  4. Trust me, except for the Intakes attaching in Figher/Gerwalk NOTHING else needs to fit any tighter.
  5. Alright, my stuff finally arrived today. Being completely new to this I noticed that, one, the parts the wings are supposed to slide into are partially filled with plastic and I'm having trouble removing it and 2, I have no idea what I'm doing. I tried fitting the hip joints and, Kurisima, you should probably go ahead and add an option to order just the ip/wings themselves because I discovered if your finger slips you will break off the pegs that hold the wings to the hips... so three hours in and I've already ruined my new parts! yay... Also, those hips do not stay put when in Fighter or Gerwalk at all. They hold worse than the original hips do. They don't really hold at all technically. Not sure what can be done since you don't have your own set to fidget with though. The Wings look pretty cool attached in Gerwalk with the extra V-Stabs sticking up and I slapped on three sets of missiles per wing (they don't hold too well because the connectors are REALLY thick. Probably I have to and these too... soon as I figure out what I'm doing.) Then I'll need to beg the lot of you to tell me what the hell priming/painting/sealing/whatever is relevant. I'll take some Gerwalk pics with it loaded for bare.

    Macross 30

Thanks for taking one for the team. I don't buy Sony products so I'm SOL on all of these Macross games, but I like to see what they look like and how they play. Free flying sounds like a lot of fun though, hopefully the play control is strong enough to warrant the freedom.
  7. "Freeman’s turn as Bilbo is particularly wonderful. You’ll see Bilbo’s personal growth throughout the film, even if he doesn’t always have a lot to do." Essentially this is what I'd go (and intend) to see the movie for. Martin Freeman is a wonderful delight to watch and I have no doubt Bilbo will be the more charming because of him.
  8. I wish I had the money right now. I'd like to have more than just the one. They look really great, and a squadron would be even better.

    Macross 30

I don't own a PS3 so somebody better take A LOT of video of the game in action.
  10. For all of you guys who want a gun pod attachment, I have an idea.
  11. My Xacto skills must suck. I tried doing that with the No step stickers and couldn't quite cut all the way through them. I wound up with a mess. And not a terribly straight line either. Like I said, larger stickers for for me. I'll even individually cut out letters/numbers and clean out the insides so there's none of that opaque between anything. But those little ones always kill me.
  12. Supposedly mine is due the 5th. I'll have to figure out all of this sanding/priming/painting thing real quick.
  13. So does the wash/weathering or something cover up those horrendous clear sticker edges? On the larger stickers I can trim the edges so they look fine but on smaller stickers like the "No Steps" I just can't trim them down, they're too small and won't stick. I noticed in your pics it's very hard to see the edges on your "No Steps."
  14. Wow, TCracker, those are some awesome poses!
  15. The problem is the HDP kit didn't sell very quick. I doubt they'd attempt a toy now. Though I do agree with you, I'd like a completed one. Though at this point I'm dipping my toe in to customizations, I'm too late to track down an HDP kit even if I were willing to take the initiative now. So VF-4 related. I'd also like to know what the ankles are made of and if they also suffer from a lack of backward mobility like the two Mac7 Valks do or if Yamato figured out a better way to implement the ankles instead? Having the VF-4 in a tighter crouch in Gerwalk would be nice to see.
  16. There we go. That first pic absolutely answers my question about the flaps on the underside. Like Exo said, just leave the inner flaps down to make room for the thighs. Not ideal looking but likely the only real solution other than leaving a gap there in the other two modes.
  17. Have only two of us bought this yet? And only one of us received it (what is taking Shapeways so long with mine!?)
  18. That is most likely the HDP kit.
  19. That's confusing though. The translation from the website last week said that Mr K didn't recommend removing them because they're fragile. I guess that's doesn't exclude the fact they're removable but I was under the impression that was a bad idea. Originally I figured it wouldn't be covered at all.
  20. LMAO! I wish I were in for three, all three modes look awesome. Please let them make some other schemes (that I like.) How is the weight distribution in all three modes, and why are there no Gerwalk photos? Huh, I just counted. I have fifteen of the 24 1/60 VF-1's in that case.
  21. It's going to need some decals.
  22. Full as in you could dive in and swim through it like coins in Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin?
  23. That's technically true of Yamato releases, is that always true of Bandai though?
  24. After seeing all of these toy pics Gerwalk on the VF-4 has been growing on me too. It happened with the VF-17 as well after having the toy.
