I had one sit in customs until the 7th. I called and cussed them out, suddenly the next day a VF-4 and VF-17D cleared customs and are in Albuquerque. I then called again on the 12th and cussed them out again... suddenly it's cleared customs the 13th and shows up at my house today.

I was expecting it to as well but nobody who got early versions verified it except we saw a few pics in Battroid. It was nice to finally strap mine down in Fighter on the stand and test it for myself.

These adapters have been a life saver. I managed to snag several old Yamato stands from a member here about a year ago that handle the heavier 17's and 19's but these adapters have made putting the rest of my fleet on stands so much easier/cheaper. I don't know if anybody has mentioned this yet but the VF-4 holds up just fine in all three modes on the original adapters that use the hinge.

Are you sure the head isn't super tight or just glued? My 19P and 17D heads took a HUGE amount of tweaking before they would budge for me.

Really? Man, i wish my D was. It holds together funny in certain spots but because the area around the intakes is so loose/spotty it doesn't hold together as firm in Fighter/Gerwalk as I would like. It also tends to make those two little triangle tabs pop out and flop down in fighter (as I noted appears to be happening in Bats images too.)

Unfortunately it's still pretty loose. Actually, the more I'm messing around with this D the more I'm noticing it's looser in every way to my S. The shoulders are more likely to droop and Gerwalk seems to want to come apart where the intakes/legs hang down too.

Not sure how many people care but the 17D isn't getting as much attention as the other recently released Valks. I plan on taking a few pics but i need to finish up a few stickers on it first. Right now it would be awfully lop-sided with "No Step" stickers all over just one wing and not the other.

Ah, there we go. It was yours. I honestly would buy a version of those fast packs if somebody could make them. I think they look good.

I thought somebody from this messageboard came up with that design.

When transforming back to fighter I had a hard time getting the arms to fit back on correct. Anybody experience the same thing and/or have tips how to do it better?

I still don't understand what the "thigh-panel w/hard point" actually is or where it's located.

The shoulders on the P are way too tight. I had the same thing happen and I wasn't pulling up on the shoulder.

Word about what?

I ordered two VF-4's. Both arrived there on the 31st. One of them showed up at my house yesterday, the other is still hanging out with yours at LA Customs. Just so you know I called both USPS and Customs in LA and they both blamed the other for the hold up. Then again two of my three packages showed up less than 24 hours later so maybe calling and complaining will do you a little bit of good.

I would try that if I weren't at work. I did almost bring the thing with me today though, I don't have the time to fidget with it while working.

I popped the glue on my right shoulder too. However I stuck it right back on and the thing hasn't moved since then. I transformed it back and forth multiple times since then to take those different sets of pictures and the shoulder has not come off at all.

The thing about it is that now they technically could make one painted like the FB2012 scheme. The VF-X also didn't transform but they painted a transformable one up in that scheme... so it can now. Why can't they say, hey, we want a non-transformable scheme and it's just a technicality now if someone chooses to transform the toy if they wanted. Or, rather, they're not licensing the Valk but the paint scheme now.

The pack on the right side of mine is a tad bit loose as well. it hasn't been a big problem for me but it would be nice to tighten up. I also noticed my D doesn't seem to sit as flush as my S does. I noticed in the pics of the S Graham posted that what becomes the chest sits flush on this S as well but in Bat's pictures his D is like mine, it doesn't sit flush and the two little tabs on the outside like to pop off and hang down a little.

One of my two VF-4's showed up yesterday. That cockpit was TIGHT when trying to push it down. Wow. I wasn't sure it was going to move. I did notice that both the stand attachment pieces are super tight and will stay attached to the VF-4 but it comes at the cost that removing them slightly damages the plastic. I'm not super happy about that. Also, it works in all three modes beautifully on the Gundam Stands. The legs are pretty pose-able even without a rotation near the knee, though I'd prefer a rotation at the knee as well. You can fake it with rotation at the hips instead but the ankle can't really turn in enough to give it the support you would need from some of the funkier poses in both Gerwalk and Battroid. Speaking of Gerwalk, it's actually pretty fun to try to pose in various ways. The ankle is inhibiting somewhat but you can get around it with the extra hinging around the knee joint. I've yet to transform it back t fighter yet, I'm wondering if getting the arms to fit back inside will be a minor annoyance. Being short there isn't THAT much that can go wrong but still. It's also too bad there wasn't some joint near the shoulder that could extend a little farther or swing down a little farther so the arms have a bit more clearance around those shoulders. That way you could pose with the arms closer to being crossed together or something or maybe a slide bar where the shoulder could be adjusted farther forward/back.

Well two out of the three packages I've been waiting on finally arrived at the house. The guy delivering bragged they got here from LA in less than 24 hours because "somebody paid for it." Yeah, because I did, to have them delivered a week ago. Also, where's the third package I paid for?

So interestingly, my VF-17D that arrived on the 30th has now cleared customs and one of my VF-4's that arrived on the 31st has cleared too. The second VF-4 is still stuck there.

Design flaw. The ankles simply don't rotate back far enough. Or, rather, they CAN rotate back very far but after that they'll be ridiculously loose from then on. Though to be honest my 19P had a floppy left ankle right out of the box.
