The thing is that Alto was actually the easiest to get, probably that's why Graham was able to snag two. I didn't even pre-order one. He sat around at shops for a few weeks after release before I decided to go for it.

I could sit here and say that I have reservations on Gerwalk mode but I also REALLy hated the VF-17 Gerwalk and the 17S head but after buying a few of the toys and seeing/being able to manipulate them in 3D it's very well possible I'll have none of those issues. I'd rather cheer-lead Bandai actually making one (or more with better/different color schemes.)

I think we now know the only way to get a decent Iron Man video game is to cop Mega-Man.

Good call. That darker tone looks REALLY nice. That's exactly how I would want mine to look.

With that missile box deployed that may well be the MOST gappy gerwalk of any Valk.

I finally caved and panic bought a second 17D.

That's the thing, right? I saw the pics from the game and though it looked stupid. Then I saw those prototype's of the DX and completely changed my mind.

Just have a look at the various DX profiles on the first page of this topic. There's a perfect sideview comparison to be made at least.

My buddy Kev says it looks like that 11B is about to give up it's lunch money.

Taking it back a few weeks, and completely off topic, look at the lines on that SDFM SDF-1. Dammit, why couldn't Yamato have made one of those. I love that profile.

Bizzarro world? Voyager neutered both The Borg and Q. The year of hell arc was pretty good too. It's how the ship should have looked, and been treated, the entire show.- 1020 replies

It's a combination of the two. Those little flaps might look like they're from the J-20 but if you fill in the gaps on the front end of the wings up to those flaps and the backs of the wings you're pretty much going to see the body of the T-50. Even the width of the feet thrusters is the same as the T-50. The rear stabilizers look like they're taken from the J-20, but even still they're significantly wider, more like the J-20

Now I'm going to wind up paying $500 for a third VF-4 just so I can modify it with this head. It'll be the commander model to my other two wing men.

Well, it's an interesting experiment and it definitely improves the angle/look of fighter in regards to the nose section however I don't feel it addresses the gullet itself. It's still a cool mod.

Wow, that VF-4 looks like an m-effing bruiser. You have officially sold me on this head design. Really amazing custom paint job and markings too. Are those Scorpion's water slide decals? Kurisama did say the head seemed smaller and looking at the pics it seems like both are a little bit smaller than the original... that could be a perception thing and not actually the case however. Really, I can't stop looking at this thing. TAKE MORE PICTURES! Seriously, I think this is the definitive scheme for the VF-4. Better than the FB2012 scheme even. Also, how does the paint hold up during transformation?

To be honest I wasn't in any hurry to get my last shipment a few weeks back so I paid less for shipping and LAX processed everything in less than a day. They're truly completely random.

Are you talking about the truck or the 19P, because I'd find it hard to believe they sell things like the 19P anywhere in Tucson.

The Wolverine FILMS (X-Men Universe)

I guess i don't find the concept of them taking away his healing factor all that interesting. -
The point is that Tony Starks obsession overtakes him. He's the type to work harder when he's stressed and he see's so many variable possibilities that he starts constructing ridiculous amounts of suits to cover every avenue. It's kind of like a replacement for his alcoholism in the comics. Severe OCD neurosis.

Weren't you just talking about great action, character development and stories that build? DS9 had all of that. His log entry there was brilliant and subtle. It's a man convincing himself he did the right thing when he knows he was wrong. Why do you think he keeps repeating he can live with it? He's trying to convince himself of the lie. It's hidden by the log entry thing at the end but it's really a one-man play, Shakespearean in delivery even. It really seems like you're looking for a reason to hate DS9 even though it embraced everything you claim you want in a story simply because it doesn't maintain that "ideal' Star Trek image which is boring to maintain to pretty much every writer out there. Really, if you take that whole show into account. If Sisko had embraced his image of being the Emissary in the VERY FIRST episode he could have prevented the whole thing. Every single death. He chose not to, went against all Federation beliefs and only in the end did he finally learn to embrace who he was and save The Federation. That's Tragedy there my friend. I think the movie was okay. I think he took it too far into Star War territory where it didn't need to be and still could have been an excellent movie. Then again, you're a fan of Battlestar... how many more of those shows are getting greenlit because they pull in huge numbers of viewers? Not to mention that they had pissed off half of their own fanbase by the third season and completely lost them by season four.- 1020 replies

What you've just described sounds exactly like the VF-0's and to a lesser extent my YF-19.

HKC took a week before shipping the two Valks I ordered last month. Don't panic yet, they take their time.
