  1. While I like the scheme, no web exclusive YF-30 while we're at it?
  2. Hmm, I hope it's just bad encoding for the video because I do not like the production on that.
  3. What do you consider reasonable?

    HI METAL LOVE THREAD

If they had taken the Hi-Metal, blown it up, and fixed some of the proportions for fighter/gerwalk it would have been the definitive VF-1 for me. As it stands the Hi-Metal Battroid mode is my favorite of any VF-1 I've ever owned.
  5. You think someone there cued him in to all of the panic? lol
  6. Good point.
  7. This is getting more curious and confusing.
  8. Do I count as a hater too because I don't like a lot of the proportions? I'm still interested in seeing the engineering of how one goes together so I've considered buying it for that.
  9. The more I look at one of the Regult Kits the more I wish I had bought one. We don't get nearly enough photos of the kits bought by members here on the forums.
  10. The Battroid pics with the A head almost look alright. That S head looks like a little kid with a giant head wearing a helmet. Atrocious proportion there.
  11. That is not full Gerwalk. Besides, nobody ever said you couldn't stand it up in Gerwalk. We said it was tenuous, not balanced well. If you had a loose toe it would easily topple and you only had maybe one or two ways to splay the legs that worked. Quit pretending like we don't know how to pose the Valk. Gerwalk is my favorite mode and this one is terrible to try to pose in any way.
  12. True. When is Wonder Festival again? End of this month?
  13. That's not a rebuttal, that's childish nonsense.
  14. It affects pose-ability and fun. Nobody complaining about the ankles used the term "aggressive" as far as I'm aware. It was the people saying the ankles were fine that kept repeating that term.
  15. IMO the Quarter looks stupid all around. I'm not a big fan of the Guantanamo but I'd take a few Northamptons. Honestly it would be nice any they made any of the other caps though.
  16. I'd take a Battle 7 as well but considering they won't even make an SDFM version of the SDF-1 and how many shelf warmer Quarters there were I don't think capital ships sell at all. I even want cap ships that don't transform, like an Uraga or something.
  17. So that means a lot of us are going to have to get good at customization. That's too bad, it was nice having the options. That doesn't bode well for reissues at all.
  18. I'd take a VF-3000. Other than a new mold (and including whatever new/fixed gimmicks they might want as a holdover from the VF-1's) they already know how to make the transformation work.
  19. You guys do realize that his parents have content blockers on his web browser and you're directing him to a video that contains pretty graphic violence and some nudity right? Besides, DYRL does a HORRIBLE job explaining anything.
  20. I would buy the hell out of both of those if they were made.
  21. For reference, the original show is about Humans coming together to fight an alien threat. The Human military goes by U.N. Spacy (which is sort for United Nations Space Navy... I believe.) The main capitol ship is a "Macross" Class Carrier called the SDF-1. The Fighters it launches are referred to as Valkyries (the various VF-1, 17, 22 etc... we have been referencing are all Valkyries.). In terms of toys there's only ever been two capitol ships that have been made in recent times. The Movie edition (from Do You Remember Love) SDF-1 and the Frontier from Macross Frontier (which is also a "Macross" Class Carrier.) Both of these capitol ships do transform from a Cruiser to "Attacker" mode which is humanoid in shape. The SDF-1 will be out of your price range. I think it's still possible to buy a Frontier but it will consume most of your birthday money. The Frontier has more bang for you buck in terms of poseability and fun, but neither give much bang for your buck.
