From my experience the VF-19 isn't nearly as good as the VF-1 was.
-
Well, I went for it at NY anyway.
-
That's pretty crazy, and definitely a sign to not do business with them IMO.
-
I didn't order. I waited later in the day.
-
I might've just screwed myself out of it though.
-
The boat is still there, access has increased in price however. It's hard to tell if these things will be available now or not though.

I just woke up. I noticed people were saying NY wasn't much more expensive than Amiami. That doesn't appear to be the case anymore. Amiami's sold out price comes to about $113 before shipping. NY is selling for $161. I wanted at least two, but for that price... I don't feel like paying $300+ right now. I hope this goes the way of the 171/RVF-25. I tend not to rely on luck.
-
I wonder if it will be like the 17 or if they will cut production numbers or something. I don't know if I want to scrounge for pre-orders or see if I can get a few cheaper after release like the price slashed 171s.

Man, that scheme looks so much more cool than the other Skull Squad colors. I just might spoil myself with two or three of these.
-
That's the one, I haven't seen it before.
-
One of my two D's has that problem. The other D and S don't.
-
Wow, what's that image in the back to the left there? 19 and 21 flying. Looks really cool.
-
Congrats. I really like posing my Hikaru and Max 1J's in Battroid but I really dislike how they look in Fighter and Gerwalk.
-
Then the argument becomes, we get one singular pose that doesn't stress the joint and that's it? Without pushing past that point i was able to get two poses. One that was relatively stable, and boring, the other was tenuous at best. Neither were the pose I wanted. I usually take pics of my Valks in Gerwalk because most other people don't favor the mode as much. There's a reason why I hardly have any of the 19 in Gerwalk, it's simply too much of a hassle and not much fun making that mode work. I finally forced my 19S into a Gerwalk pose that I'm relatively happy with, it's never changing into the other two modes again though. The 17's ball joint is actually pretty much the same, it's just that there's more play in both the thigh joint and the fact the Valk isn't so front heavy that it's easier to do more dynamic poses with it. Very fun to try out different things with that Valk, actually.
-
I agree, ball joints are largely a good idea. The Bandai's VF-25's,171's, etc... all make great use of them and pose really well. It would be nice to have the feet angled back further without having to worry about if it will ever stand in Battroid again or if the feet will always be floppy in fighter mode.
-
Based on those CADS it appears we're definitely getting ball jointed ankles. Which definitely helps with proportions and saving space for transformation. I only worry that we will see a return of the ankle issues of the VF-19's instead of a better mechanism for angling feet back.
-
So you've come up with these plots and some of these other mecha yourself for the purposes of this rpg?
-
Yup, nothing but toys there... except that very first photo Reivaj posted clearly shows a giant piece of artwork
-
$20 says you will get none of these. The wings folding back is your best bet, but I don't see it. But since they're including fast packs anyway that's means there's a slot you could plug something in. I'm sure some additional attachment could be whipped up at shapeways to allow the VF-11 packs to attache. Considering every Valk Yamato has made except for the VF-1 lacks hard points I wouldn't expect them to add any.
-
I think that Battroid actually manages to look better than the VF-19's somehow.
-
Those intake covers look an awful lot like the VF-19 covers already do. Plus there appears to be some sort of extra transformation mechanic on the back. I'd imagine they won't be.
-
This is about the same as what they did the VF-17 and V-4 in terms of spoilers.
-
Where did you get your display cases? They look like 1/2 size versions of the display cases I've been looking at. Then I see the $2200 price tag and I go do other things instead of ordering them.
