I'm willing to bet any VF-4 repaint would sell well.

It's funny, probably the only Super Pack I would get is for the RVF-25 however I also love the way it looks plain so... decisions. I guess i could buy it and switch them out from time to time. Not sure if I want to bother though.

Bandai 1/72 fully transform able VF-1 plastic kit for Macross 30th Ann
Mommar replied to Vi-RS's topic in Model kits
The concept of how the hip and ankle joints can work is really cool and a good idea for poseability. However, the head is TOO BIG, the shoulders are super tiny, the proportions.shape of the nose cone make all three modes unsightly and the Fast Packs do not seem to sit in the right spot. I don't mind reinterpretations, but I do mind bad ones. Two good engineering ideas and A LOT of terrible design/artistic ones. -
That Red Striped head looks slick doesn't it? More black on the chest would make it look even more Tux-like too. LOL
-
Hmm, I read it but somehow I totally missed the joke. Whoops. The red top to that 1J looks really good. the red on it in general does. I like how the 30th anniversary swoop ends up looking like a Tux in Battroid. In that bigger pic the chest is a tad too busy, but still it's best mode.
-
Too unpredictable whether they will do a good job on the build? The VF-1's are pretty rock-solid at this point now.
-
And one in bathroom? LMAO!!! I'll get one, I like the way it looks in Battroid.
-
It's pretty cool looking in Battroid.

All Things Videogame Related: EXTREME VS!!
Mommar replied to Keith's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Consider this. A serviceman receives a new game in the mail. They can't get online to register it after installing so they can't play it. The game is rendered useless even with the occasional dial in requirement. This can easily be dialed back to any number of highly inconvenient cases for any of us who do have internet more often than not. Sure, this same issue exists with Steam users so it isn't much different, but a dedicated console has never locked you down in that fashion before.- 6862 replies

Backwards compatibility? Hoping it doesn't have required Kinect? The show stopper is having to register your games online and having to connect once every 24 hours (FU servicemen and anybody in a rural area!) The coolest bit about the One is how impressive the new Kinect is in every way possible.- 6862 replies

Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Pacific Rim'
Mommar replied to fifbeat's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So what about the one Jaeger that has three pilots? Three lobes? It obviously serves plot, but at least it's original (as far as I'm aware) for a Mech story.- 1207 replies

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
Mommar replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Eh, spoilers really mean nothing to me as no matter how I imagine something going down it's always going to look and feel different when I actually see it play out on screen. So seeing even glimpses of story in a trailer won't ruin the experience for me. Or is it hasn't yet.- 442 replies

Okay, this covers both what I heard about Kevin Conroy NOT doing the voice in this game but he is still doing the voice of Batman in the *next* Batman game. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/05/kevin_conroy_inadvertently_confirms_role_in_future_batman_arkham_game

Fascinating. We will be getting YF-4 (VF-X-4) miniatures. That's pretty cool in and of itself, that's the first I've ever heard of that being made anywhere. Whatever form of Guardian and Battroid they take the fighter mode is at least a small part of Macross proper that's never been produced before.
