Considering that giant 30th Anniversary logo pretty much is required for the entire scheme to work I highly doubt that's a "marking." I guarantee you that's going to be straight tempo'd on.

The issue isn't that it's TV white, the issue is that the inside of the chest pieces are both black so it would make sense for the covers to also be black.

To be honest never having owned a 1/55 I have no nostalgia for it at all. I really don't feel like it holds it's own at all. Then again, not owning a 1/48 I think it's proportions, other than having the head in the correct lower spot on the neck, really looks very good either. -
You didn't expect them to be?

If HG were to reach out to "Arcadia" now about the VF-1's it's possible they could reach out about other Macross items and have enough combined fans for something like the Monster to be feasible cost wise (yeah right, the Robotech fans whine about things costing $60 already.)
-
You know with the upper and lower parts of the foot lit up it looks pretty good like that really. Considering none of the rest of us on the planet have a 1/60 Yammie with feet that light up at all you're already way ahead of the curve.

Being web-exclusive I'm pretty sure they're pulling a VF-4. Made to order and that's it. The only thing sitting on shelves will be either "used" or a few pre-orders that were never filled. Just like what we saw with the VF-4.

He would have to avoid consulting with Kawamori in order to keep costs down too.

The two S's are bad examples. The F and P are RIDICULOUSLY difficult compared to my S. -
Well I'd give him that. The transformation on that thing is ridiculous.

You mean a "clean" RVF-25 and a Super Packed RVF-25 aren't enough? To be honest the RVF-25 in Battroid minus the Super Packs is pretty cool looking in it's own right.

Take something flat and pry. -
Mr. K is not the same person as Kawamori. Mr. K is a completely different guy who works for Arcadia as the head of one of their engineering groups who wants to make a VF-9 (though I honestly can't understand why he, or the people on this board, want that as it looks off in all three modes IMO.)

The option parts for under the arms really should be black IMO.

Well, I hope this is good. Cars never interested me, even before it became apparent it was purely a kids movie, but at least I can enjoy the planes in this. Hopefully there's more to it. At the very least there could be some fun toys to buy for my Nephew.

I didn't think Bandai would make a very large run of the CF 171 honestly. I wonder if they'd even bother with a Luca version. The Alto one was still available after it went on sale and this CF one seems to be in even more abundance. Luca isn't really popular at all. Also, bad sales for this CF 171 don't bode well for a CF 25... which was already a pipe dream for most of us.

I still don't understand where this piece is as I'd like to check my 19P that took a spill.

The more I look at it (in fighter mode) the more I can appreciate the scheme. It really is a "chase car" Valk.
-
That's good news. I find it hard to believe they ever shelved the YF-19 V.2. I'm willing to bet that one is happening at some point still.

Maybe it's the lighting but that paint scheme looks great right there, all three colors work well together. Love how deep, dark the red is. It's definitely a "show" type paint scheme. I like the swooping black tails off of the the 30th logo as well. Hopefully it doesn't all fall apart in person. Some of the promo shots didn't look as good color wise.

The front door on the front landing gear of my Gamlin won't stay closed in fighter/gerwalk. Anybody had that problem with the 21/22?

They focused on various aspects of the movie and took the time to discuss them between three different people. In that context 45 minutes wouldn't be much different from sitting around talking about a movie with your friends.- 1020 replies
