I want more and more info about this release! Or pics!
-
It's awesome, and I want three in that mold so I can display it in all three modes, but I honestly don't want that color scheme multiple times. I can justify several CF 11C's but Isamu's scheme doesn't work the same for me... plus I'll have a YF-29 in that color as well which enough double dipping for me.

Mini-Review of RoHby's VF-11 (2012 Macrossworld-Con Exclusive)

Man, that thing is really cool looking. I wish I was able to get one. -
Why do you want two?

Guardians of the Galaxy, on DVD/Blu-Ray December 9, 2014
Mommar replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You've not heard the various grumblings from the many Avengers cast members that they aren't being fairly compensated for the success of the movies? That's one of the reasons after Avengers 2 RDJ is likely getting out and there's already issues with the other cast wanting to be paid higher for Avengers 2 and RDJ has hinted he'll play hardball for the other principal actors to get paid more. In the mean time Marvel have a new stable or relatively well known actors/actresses/personalities signed up for Guardians.- 344 replies

So what are you willing to pay for Arcadia YF-19?
Mommar replied to 1/1 LowViz Lurker's topic in Toys
I disagree with this assessment. While Bandai could price things lower, they're selling a product that is based on a far newer property thus there's a higher volume of people to sell too. That makes it easier to set your prices lower. It's an unrealistic expectation that Arcadia should have to compete in price with a market that does not exist for them. Just because our little community here buys everything from every series doesn't mean there's a huge pool of people buying both Mac F plus every other series, that's unique to us. Your view on this matter is skewed and unrealistic. Second, the stand is largely unusable garbage. The new stand Arcadia are including with the VF-1's look far more dynamic/usable (hopefully they hold up well.) Third, we have lots of people on this board alone constantly pointing out that the tampo and paint apps on the Bandai Valks are really shoddy/sloppy as well as the fit on a lot of pieces being off. I have one or two minor fitting issues but the more I look at the toys the more I notice just how terrible the paint has been applied to most of them. They're cheaper dollar wise, but then they also seem to come off as cheaper product-wise as well. My VF-19's, even with my own issues with the ankle design, feel far more solid, sturdy, quality and fit better than any of the renewal Bandai Valk's I own. -

I think it's interesting that in every thread about Iron Man/The Avengers Marvel get slagged for mistreating or unfairly compensating their stars (they all have to hide behind RDJ to get business done) however Marvel just keeps on signing up more big names to their movies.- 344 replies

I dunno, except for the "Test" stamps on the sides that VF-X is pretty much the low-viz paint scheme people want. -

You consider the Angle Birds and VF-X ugly? -
I think the paint scheme on the 25A fits the configuration of the VF-25 more than the specialized schemes for skull squadron. I really want a 30 as well, such an awesome profile on that one.
-
Unless you're dead-set on getting option parts, water-slide decals and the new stand there's nothing different from the previous VF-1 releases.
-
Honestly, all they really need to do is the new head and paint scheme and that would be close enough without much effort on their part.

X-Men: Days of Future Past, in theaters May 23, 2014

The Fassbender scene's at the bank and the bar in Argentina are the only two scenes I would say raise it above the other X-Men movies. Otherwise, just as bad IMO.- 329 replies

We've already had people coming up with ludicrous wish lists involving imaginary numbers like no more than $200 which simply do not reflect reality. -

They haven't shown or mentioned a stand with the YF-19 release. Don't start making assumptions. -
Holy Hell, for that price I would have bought a second one!
-
I haven't seen those before. The Camo-Regult is bad-ass! I assume the VF-1 and the YF-19 aren't transformable? Also, the Q-Rau's rendered as toylike look like something somebody would have posted in the models gallery. I wouldn't have guessed they were 3D models. Impressive.

That would make things ever more confusing then they already are. Even people who follow the comics would have a hard time tying in all together. And First Class was pretty terrible to begin with.- 329 replies

I'm with mickyg, I read all of these books in middle school and it definitely helped to keep my interest as I didn't live someplace where I could just stumble across Macross, etc...

Is it actually a model kit? Sounds like it came pre-made and looks pretty poseable.
