Yes, there is already a thread for this. However, it's nice to see new images. Higher price for the water slide decals and stand... I'll take it, I don't have a 1S Hikaru and I want to try out one of the stands with all of the other Valk types anyway.

You're even more anal about one in every mode then I am. I stick to one of each style in every mode. So an S,F,G,R in different modes. Honestly, Macross F made it harder to pull that off since the RVF-25 looks so unique in each of the three modes (plus super packs for all, plus Armor for two, plus Tornado packs for two...)

I had a similar issue happen to me a few years back. It took some digging but I drummed up Gabe Newell's e-mail address and told him where he could shove it... they fixed my problem within the hour.- 6756 replies

Beards give me a rash... therefore Ozma sucks?

Bossssssssssssss. Oh Lord, how I want Arcadia to make one in this scheme!
-
Option parts to make what look less gap-tastic?
-
Unless they're all DYRL VF-1's they didn't wear the packs that often in the show. That being said, I'll need something like four sets once they're released again.

Robotech really was never originally a "rip off" of Macross though, regardless of how terrible it's been managed and how flogged Macross fans have been by Harmony Gold. Originally it had to be longer to air, so they found a way to make it longer to air and dubbed it Robotech. That's not the same as a "rip off", it just had a LOT of painful consequences to follow. Besides, Godzilla was never ruined, Americans made a bad movie, the rest of the property still exists and is fine. That's not ruining Godzilla the franchise, just ruining an opportunity.

I wonder if we'll see a jump in the price of the Super/Strike parts too?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Coming May 2, 2014
Mommar replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It's hard to tell if the costume is actually shiny or not. That first pic it kind of does, the second it doesn't really. It's just more of a vibrant red. The last movie wasn't bad, hopefully this one is better.- 153 replies

That armored Alto with the sniper rifle is bad-ass looking.

We're talking about shipping again? I already posted what NY was charging EMS shipping to the States. Nobody can extrapolate from that?
-
To be honest I'd swap out that Darker Skull Scheme for something more like the SVF-440 Dullahan's scheme from the Master File book.
-
Yamato would have five sales from me if they made those four other schemes.
-
I hate decaling the glossy valks.
-
Also because most of us didn't want the other VF-19's in gloss either but because of Basara we were stuck with it on all of the variants.
-
I don't understand, what did you tweak on the leg? I still have my Max 1J MPC that I leave in the armored up, tank-like Gerwalk just because.
-
Man, I had my finger on the button for another one when Yamato reissued these and I hesitated. The next day they were all gone. A second one to pose in fighter would have been good to have (plus I could redo the decals that I effed up on my first one.)

I agree, I've wanted both of those as well. But with Arcadia's stance of not doing many repaints I wonder how many, if any, repaints of the YF-19 they would even attempt? The VF-1, there was at least a few repaints that could work. But outside of SDFM and Frontier there's a distinct lack of run-away popular characters from the animations that would allow for repaints. We think the game paint schemes are cool... we might be the only ones. I don't think anybody wants this gloss.

Shipping was $28 via EMS from Nippon-Yasan. Done with the speculating on box size and fretting about shipping now? Good. Move on.
-
Good point. I'm still not sure they're willing to take that risk though.

I think the double nuts and the orange one sold pretty slow. I know they were released and I eyed them for months, maybe even a year, before I finally decided to pull the trigger on a double nuts. On the other hand, after people got hold of them and posted pictures it seemed like others became more interested in the schemes and started seeking them out. Maybe some different variants would sell better? Maybe the VFX version would sell better? Maybe the Double Nuts didn't sell as well because it didn't look like the Prototype Version and was instead a relatively lazy repaint?
-
We've had this discussion going in another thread about Arcadia limiting their repaints because they lost money as Yamato but... what are the odds they'll attempt a repaint or two of the YF-19? Is just Isamu's enough? Seems like a waste of a mold for just that one scheme.

I think it's amusing that Arcadia has become gun shy about releasing too many paint scheme variants when Yamato pretty much set the standard for every variant under the sun. Meanwhile Bandai is releasing a 25CF after releasing a 171CF. It's bizarro world. Also all of Bandai's CF's are exploding...
