Man, the 25A/G, and RVF are they only 25 series Valks that I think look good in Battroid. That A head just looks right with the rest of the body. YF-24 could maybe be done with some changes to the wings/legs. I think that's really the only change between the VF-25. Then again with the Tornado parts on the VF-25 profile looks largely like the delta-winged YF-24. The YF-30 is not the same mold as the 25 series, so no.

Damn, that was fast. Where did you order from and by what carrier? Mine was shipped Friday via Fed Ex and was supposed to arrive Wednesday but it appears to have been held up either leaving Japan or entering the US as now the status is unknown.

And not to mention that Frontier also establishes that Hero Valks can have boosters mid wing via additional super packs, tornado packs, etc... (if you ignore that both the VF-4 and 14 also have mid wing boosters.)

That's only sort of the case in the original though. In Empire and Return it's rather clear EVERYBODY but the Emperor answers to Vader. And even still, Vader was still an imposing enforcer no matter who he was working for. Now, he's just kind of this sad middle-man for other Darth Maul knock-offs.

I guess I never realized the Monster's legs alone were as big as a Valk.

The 21/22 could use better knee and ankle joints. Any other fixes are purely based on impossible anime-magic really. Like wise for the 11. Maybe fix/give more articulation to the shoulder and elbow joints plus tighten up the knees. Unless they can come up with some way to tweak the tail fins to be larger for some of you (personally I think they're fine) there isn't anything to change on the 11 either.

I'm with David, I need a Fold Booster as well. Macross Junkie, sometimes they just don't put everything on when they're running through all the promo photos. Those pieces are on display as being a part of the set, likely they weren't attached because either they forgot or didn't think it was necessary for the promos.

I'd like one too but I just don't believe it will happen.

There aren't many other options for repaints of the YF-19 though. Mr. K only said "maybe" to the ravens scheme.

I prefer the Double Nuts scheme as well. I was never a fan of Isamu's scheme either. This is purely to get sales for other 19's.

Well if you zoom in and look at the Gerwalk image in the background, other than adding a bit of a lip on the foot to block the joint it pretty much looks like the exact same ankle (provided that hasn't been changed along with anything else since those pics were taken.)

I'm wondering when we'll start to see some pics of the CF's. Mine only just shipped this morning so I won't see them until the middle of next week most likely. Oh, quick question, does anybody know if the Super Parts for the 25G are still held up until the very end of the month?

DAAAAAAAAAAMN! That's the one I wanted when I took my Double Nuts out of the package and was immediately disappointed. They had it in Fighter for a bit, and now Battroid. I wonder if they'll get around to posing it in Gerwalk at some point as well? Maybe putting it back into Fighter but with the Super Packs and/or missiles attached? Or putting the super packs on Battroid eventually just to keep showing off aspects of this things perpetual awesome. Quick favor, can anybody who speaks Japanese ask Mr. K if the ankles on the YF-19 are different from the VF-19 release? I'd do a website translation but I have no idea if it would come out as gibberish or not.

For the mold: we have 1/60 VF-1 series and Macross7 series in the company. Also we have Macross Ship (so they say.. ;; I'll delete this post if I get yelled at..)Does that mean no VF-4???

It really isn't relevant. Saying they may miss their ship date isn't anything like waiting years (we only backed this a few months ago) and they aren't saying they can't produce any of the things they said they would.

First, for the topic. I've noticed a few times the torso isn't dark like in the lineart... but that's honestly completely impossible to do on a transforming toy. I'm not sure a clip on would really make it look any better. As far as that lip on the intake is concerned I understand what the problem is and I even agree to a certain extent but it's already set in stone and this YF-19 is TONS better than the old one. I'm going to choose to be happy about it. I don't think, for me personally, it's going to be much of a bother once the whole thing is assembled but I'm not going to sit and stare at that part in all of the photos either. Obsessing never helps. On the other hand some of those-head on pics look PERFECT with the intake the way it is (or so good I don't care.) One idea I had to fixing it, and there may be zero space to do this, would be to have a little portion of plastic recessed into the upper intake you can pull down with a tab... but that could have other catastrophic effects and not look good either. Just another concept to throw in there though. Second, we don't really know how they define the "molds." Like, is there really much of a difference between the VF-19F/S/P/Kai to warrant calling it more than one mold? Or the 21/22? I still believe this "rare" craft is the 0D. It's been hinted at by both insiders on this message board, teased in early YF-19 pics by Mr. K and Mr. K himself admitted it's one he's wanted to make.

I was thinking because the underside of the upper intake is rounded upward that extending the lower intake would actually affect the way it transforms and is shaped, it would have to curve upward. But the addition of the wonky pointed hips in Battroid is also a good point. I think that thick lip isn't going to be as much of an issue once we see the toy fully assembled without all of the looseness. It looks to me like the lower and upper intakes meet together at a very specific point and would line up perfectly on a non-loose toy. Extending that lip would affect that and I think it would hurt the look more.

But there is a chance of a Ravens VF-X scheme, which is pretty cool for those of us who want different paint schemes.
