  1. Yeah, it seems like the correct tan color right now. I'm not sure making it lighter is a good idea. Now maybe someone could float that idea to Bandai as the tan color on their Isamu YF-29 doesn't look nearly as good as a lighter white does.
  2. I'd take a white and green RVF-171, but I wouldn't pre-order one this time.
  3. I hate to break this to you Astro but if you multiplied $300 by 4 you'd only be playing $1200 per "wonder." A car here in the states is more like $20,000+ (and $20,000 is for a cheap one.) Hmm, on second read I think I misunderstood you. It's $1200 for a car in Argentina?
  4. Who doesn't know Heart & Soul isn't a "real" song?
  5. I don't believe so. Since you only ever once, in Empire, saw Vader become pissed and NOT choke somebody to death it really only highlighted that the Emperor was going to kill anyone he wasn't happy with.
  6. Gerwalk Love!
  7. Hmm, well, it appears my package just kinda sat around in Japan Friday/Saturday/Sunday and most of Monday. That kind of pisses me off.
  8. I thought it was turn of the millennium. Whoops. But it serves my case even better.
  9. Actually, of all the Macross things not rolled into Robotech the YF-19 is pretty well known and popular among Robotech fans as well. They may not be Macross converts but there are a lot of those people who at least crossed over to see what Macross Plus was about and dig the 19. I'd be interested in seeing these sales numbers. I'd be willing to bet there's a lot more international sales for this release. My buddy Kev isn't a Macross fan at all, he calls everything on my shelf "Veritech", but he's seen the pics and if he had the money he'd drop it on one of these YF-19's as well. He doesn't care about the VF-4, 17, 19, 25, etc... even if he thinks they're kinda cool looking but he most definitely knows the YF-19 and Isamu and that's true of every Robotech fan I know.
  10. I don't know man, spark plugs and oil changes in Supra's are a hell of a lot cheaper.
  11. The one's complaining Arcadia are getting greedy, have you ever run a business that creates and sells highly engineered... well, anything? Do you know what the actual costs are? Some of you seem to think you know what these toys should be priced at but I'm waiting for the all encompassing explanation how and why a business could and should be charging less. Just the opinion, "it should be cheaper" means nothing. It's what they deemed the market could bare and what they could make a profit at. If they couldn't make a profit or the market couldn't bare it they wouldn't make it at all. You wouldn't have anything to complain about then, but then again you wouldn't have anything to buy either and that would be it. And, really, I think they did hear that the VF-4 was too expensive. People thought it was cool (and it is, I'm glad I have my two) but that it was a lot of money for just a Valk. So they can't really charge less for such fancy pieces of engineering. What to do then? Well, charge the same as the VF-4 but include a whole wealth of extras as incentive.
  12. The YF-25 looks just like the VF-25 but it has a different paint scheme. The YF-24 would require a bit of mold changing in spots.
  13. Timing is a bit of a problem again. I'd be interested but I won't find out if I'm furloughed until the 21st...
  14. Glow in the dark bits might look cool, though I think one of the biggest problems is with the design itself. It's too busy a design.
  15. Sarcasm? Because the SV-51 was designed around '99/2000 by Kawamori and the VF-27 was designed around 2007 by Kawamori as well.
  16. Man, the 25A/G, and RVF are they only 25 series Valks that I think look good in Battroid. That A head just looks right with the rest of the body. YF-24 could maybe be done with some changes to the wings/legs. I think that's really the only change between the VF-25. Then again with the Tornado parts on the VF-25 profile looks largely like the delta-winged YF-24. The YF-30 is not the same mold as the 25 series, so no.
  17. Damn, that was fast. Where did you order from and by what carrier? Mine was shipped Friday via Fed Ex and was supposed to arrive Wednesday but it appears to have been held up either leaving Japan or entering the US as now the status is unknown.
  18. And not to mention that Frontier also establishes that Hero Valks can have boosters mid wing via additional super packs, tornado packs, etc... (if you ignore that both the VF-4 and 14 also have mid wing boosters.)
  19. That's only sort of the case in the original though. In Empire and Return it's rather clear EVERYBODY but the Emperor answers to Vader. And even still, Vader was still an imposing enforcer no matter who he was working for. Now, he's just kind of this sad middle-man for other Darth Maul knock-offs.
  20. I guess I never realized the Monster's legs alone were as big as a Valk.
  21. The 21/22 could use better knee and ankle joints. Any other fixes are purely based on impossible anime-magic really. Like wise for the 11. Maybe fix/give more articulation to the shoulder and elbow joints plus tighten up the knees. Unless they can come up with some way to tweak the tail fins to be larger for some of you (personally I think they're fine) there isn't anything to change on the 11 either.
  22. I'm with David, I need a Fold Booster as well. Macross Junkie, sometimes they just don't put everything on when they're running through all the promo photos. Those pieces are on display as being a part of the set, likely they weren't attached because either they forgot or didn't think it was necessary for the promos.
  23. I'd like one too but I just don't believe it will happen.
  24. There aren't many other options for repaints of the YF-19 though. Mr. K only said "maybe" to the ravens scheme.
  25. I prefer the Double Nuts scheme as well. I was never a fan of Isamu's scheme either. This is purely to get sales for other 19's.
