  1. That would be cool too but it we're going by what can be reused over and over it's 25's.
  2. There's really no comparison. Bandai exclusively makes Macross Frontier toys. The Mac F Valks are significantly skinnier then other Macross Valks anything else produced would look "chunkier" however they don't have VF-1's/4's/11's/17's/19's/21's so it's a non-issue. The Bandai Valks are made of a very shiny material which a few really like but most feel looks very cheap/toy-like. The Yamato/Arcadia Valks are all matte and look more like models, which I personally prefer. So far Arcadia has only produced VF-1's, and in that instance they're EXACTLY the same quality as the Yamato V2's.
  3. I didn't know the Glaug had been used in Battletech as well.
  4. I've made some efforts to try to translate some of this myself. Calling my Japanese rudimentary would be an over-statement. Way, way over my head here.
  5. I think JasonC was referring to Yamato/Arcadia being the same and using the same factories, not Arcadia/Bandai.
  6. I'd definitely buy a Klan red like that custom, if only to be able to pose it next to my 25G and get that Max/Milia look.
  7. I don't know about this, once the basic goal for Destroids had been met why would people keep piling money on top of it for things like the Glaug or the YF-4? Unless the Robotech fans are more affluent and that last 5-10% dumped crazy money in afterward for all the rest of the rewards.
  8. Sociopaths don't usually weep while they do their sociopathic things. She's hardly borderline.
  9. The miniseries wasn't that bad.
  10. By that same logic, as of the last episode with Daryl his entire persona is angry, redneck who was beaten as a kid and who may or may not hate rich people now. I didn't say they were the same type of bad-ass. I wouldn't ever expect him to do what she did and vice-versa, but they're both world weary and willing to do what needs to be done. I would consider them two sides to the same coin.
  11. Or how about Carol making hard decisions for the good of others? It's why she knocked off those two at the prison as well. She made the mistake of not making the hard decision until it was too late. And Tyrese saw how it affected her and understood the reason why she made the decision she did... he certainly couldn't do what she did with the girls either. She and Daryl deserve each other, they're the two biggest bad-asses in the show.
  12. Now that I think about it isn't the 29B from that other Macross game and not a Macross 30 Valk? Just like the Ozma one? If that's true we could be in for a Klan 25 as well.
  13. There is still the Percival B model 29 as well.
  14. You don't have the Pit Figma as well? Nintendo did say they were looking to license more now, in order to keep the brand out there, so maybe more characters will be out down the line.
  15. Not being a miniatures guy I don't understand what the problem is.
  16. I'm not convinced that should have ever been.
  17. I thought that should have happened back when they were still at the Prison... FYI, I saw it coming.
  18. That's a really cool looking video and perfect justification for an Arcadia or Bandai Battle Carrier. Somebody share this on Arcadia's twitter?
  19. The thing is that the 27 didn't have all of the improvements of the 25. That's one of the reasons why I skipped it.
  20. I'm surprised there haven't been more comments on this book, it's a pretty cool one.
  21. Yeah, I think the YF-25 Tornado Pack from that game looks pretty cool actually.
  22. It's good for you since you're a newcomer. I've wondered what I would have done if I hadn't stumbled across this site back in 2009. I do think that part of it is that retailers an gun-shy about Macross products now. Between the poor selling V1 Bandai stuff and all of the Yamato variants that clogged retailer warehouses I think if the manufacturers don't make sure to limit their productions the resellers won't bother stocking the products. So instead we have artificial shortages so there isn't as much stock left. And even still we've seen a few shelf-warmers.
  23. I've never seen this before. Very interesting to look at. The concepts for both shows really varied wildly at first.
