  1. As it stands, the old VF-0 and 1 both have zero room for the wings to push up anymore. How are the wings on the Bandai Kit mounted so there's any additional room for them to slide up?
  2. Other then the fact that my parents knew my brother and I liked transformable toys, as such we wound up with one three inch figure when we were kids, I never really knew what Orguss was and still don't really understand.
  3. That's precisely how it looks in the Master File too.
  4. Since my last post to Mr K was confusing would anyone who knows Japanese care to ask if they're going to take care to improve/increase poseability in the hips over the previous VF-0 and the VF-1?
  5. Dunno why I didn't find my way back to this thread until now. Possibly because I didn't want to see something so awesome that I can't own myself. LOL
  6. Just looking at the Hi-Metal thread a moment ago I do hope Arcadia has come up with some ways to open up the hips/articulation in the legs on this thing. Since the VF-0 and 1 are pretty much exactly the same in that regards the Hi-Metal threaded reminded me that while I love the Yamato stuff the Battroid mode on the Hi-Metals is still more poseable/fun. It would be nice if Arcadia could work some of that additional poseability in to this new mold.

    HI METAL LOVE THREAD

Look how skinny those legs had to be.
  8. Unless you want to pose something in Gerwalk... then it's just a brick that is impeded everywhere.
  9. I don't like Mac Zero at all but I like the 0D/S/A/whatever.
  10. I'd like to say I'll be done after this one but the YF-30, I think, will wind up being a pretty rare fighter in the end. I don't think in ten years anybody will be dying to make a Valk that only appeared in a video game unless it winds up cropping up in other things since.
  11. Ah, I didn't catch that one. Thanks. It's pretty close to the second one. I wonder if they'll actually try to sneak in a fourth that absolutely won't work in anything other than fighter on the extreme inside too. It would look very cool to have a fully loaded 0D like in that Master File photo.
  12. I wonder how many hard points are on this thing? The Master File is pretty loaded out with four per wing. The CAD here only looks like they have room for two... possibly a third.
  13. Dude, you've opened a real can of worms here. I'm willing to bet there's going to be a huge rush for these things.
  14. The D was SUPER tight compared to my S. Though I do have a bit of that floppy right arm syndrome Alduin mentioned.
  15. Bummer, only twelve total? Too bad there isn't an easier way for you to manufacture those things but I understand why you wouldn't want to make a thousand by hand.
  16. Does Bandai even have a presence at Wonderfest? They do their own thing don't they?
  17. I've been trying to study that CAD image to see what changes there may or may not be. I can't make out if the shoulder transformation is any different/better then the old VF-0/1. Looks like the bumps for the fuel cells still peg in with two holes just like the old 0's. There's no little tab to hold the backpack up, unlike the VF-1, and just like the old VF-0. I wonder if there's a new mechanism or if they're sticking with friction.
  18. If you squint it says 1/72 MDE, so it looks like additional parts for 1/72 VF-25 kits.
  19. Just tweeted him... in English. "Why not 1/3000 SDFM instead?" with a pic. His foreign fans need to let him know a lot of us we're more familiar with and want the TV version.
  20. I'm sorry but I think Arcadia, and Yamato before them, don't seem to realize that while the DYRL version of the SDF-1 is more popular in Japan the rest of the world is far more familiar with, and wants, a SDFM version in 1/3000 scale. I'm sure some fans in Japan will buy them too. This? Not interested.
  21. But you guys really need to understand this is barely a prototype. This is a CAD drawing. Not the final design,it's the first one. A rough up. Shape, size, color. It's not the final decision on anything and it isn't intended to be . Flipping out on something like the color now is silly. They'll get around to nailing down the color around the same time they've done it for the YF-19, i.e. January of 2015.
  22. It's a render people, get over it.
  23. I think that first 1A is really cool looking. The second, that apes the "the first" style, is a very interesting idea but I feel copying The First is always a failure. There's just too much Yellow on the back of it in fighter mode. If you had kept a thin strip along the part that becomes the chest and left the back half as black with black stripes I feel like it would have been a home run. But then, I've always felt the The First style paint scheme was too messy personally.
  24. Man, I love that thing loaded down with the missiles. So awesome.
  25. Wow, will they actually get the wings to fold up that high as well?
