I guess in the instance you would have the radar dish it would just never be stowed, always have that tail turned upward in deployment. I suppose you also could have additional packages attached to the two hard points closest to the body of the craft and when it transforms they would be attached to the forearms. That would make it look a whole lot like the Elint Seeker in Battroid actually. Troop transport would just be a slightly different looking style of box really.

Then how come my message says before May 9th?
-
THat's a pretty rough translation. Even still. He does comment that the missile box could be removed and replaced with beam guns, radar arrays or even carry some form of troop transportation container. He also states he had originally designed it to be colored in a digi-camo but it didn't look heroic enough like that. You're thinking of the Ozma YF-29. The YF-30 isn't available on NY.

Those aren't shoulders, that's more of a clavicle.
-
You can read the article?
-
Shoulder covers?
-
To anyone who said you could just fold the missile box back down out of the way. Nope, cockpit is blocking that.

Oh, sreichma reminded me. I hate their tacky tampo too. lol

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

I have both the Hikaru and Max 1J's. I think in terms of Battroid playability it's the best 1J out there. Highly poseable and fun. Because of the nature of the transformation (parts-former) and the fact I feel like the Gerwalk and Fighter modes don't look very good I only keep them in Battroid though. -
I honestly don't believe this one will be as popular.

You know what would make this super dark, and will never happen, but if more force sensitive people are still born every day it would make sense for Imperial agents to test babies and eliminate those born with powers that could rival the Emperor.

If you already own a Yamato VF-1 pulling the Double Nuts out of the package would be a HUGE let down as it feels infinitely inferior even to that. The Arcadia 19 is 100x better then that old Yamato YF-19.

I wouldn't say I "hate" Bandai but pre-ordering their general release stuff is murder. I'm not fond of their choice of shiny plastic. And the hips/shoulders on their Macross toys all become loose and floppy.
-
I already preordered.
-
Yup, it's a Super Super Valk.
-
Yeah, I pointed that out a few pages ago. I've been concerned about that for awhile. Unless Bandai have come up with some strange way to "lock" the hip at the joint as a compromise. The ball joint is surrounded by metal on this one instead, so it looks a bit different from the 25/27/29/171 models.
-
That's what I wanted. Now I'm wondering if they'll pop out a Percival B model as well? Might as well, it's the only 29 variant left.
-
I love all three modes.
-
I agree. Let the damn Jedi's die. There doesn't need to be one EVERYWHERE, hiding. People were perfectly happy with characters like Han Solo and Boba Fett, two people with ZERO force powers.
-
The paint scheme on the Double Nuts is better...
-
This is some pretty good real world information. That said, it's a model and unless it's the Millennium Falcon I likes my symmetry.

Holy eff, shipped Sunday and arrived in NM this morning! Thanks Fed Ex!
-
What? They absolutely have not done the 29B as a toy.

Considering there's also a hand animation of the 30 as well, that's a lot of effort for one little-known plane.
