    Reading some of those Metacritic reviews it was going to be impossible to make everyone happy. All of the middle-of-the-road reviews are either complaining there's no character/plot and all it needed was tons of monsters fighting, or that the monsters fighting gets in the way of the plot.

    Well, hopefully this one is good. The previous movie got pretty good reviews but I always disagreed with that.

    So my thought was maybe NY decided the people who paid for the fastest shipping weren't willing to wait and so they shafted the SAL people who were already expecting a slow shipment. Some have got EMS and some don't. It pisses me off so many have been shafted after paying. It's also worrying, while NY has never been the cheapest they've always been reliable. Now, any one of us could be screwed after paying and that just isn't right. Though from the sounds of things Bandai has shorted everyone's shipments as well... which deserves an update in the Why Bandai sucks thread.

    The gunpod really should be the same color as the Ozma 25S/25A Gunpod but otherwise I'm very happy with the color. I haven't transformed it to Battroid yet but the combination of body style and paint scheme makes this one of my top favorite Gerwalk modes.

    I was thinking the gunpod should be colored the same as the engines on the wing. Though they might be the same, or similar, to the 25A (and ironically) the 25S gunpod. Will compare them when I get home tonight.

    If you ask me this is how Ozma's 25 should have been colored. It looks way better as a Charcoal Grey here.

    I disagree. Most people just don't know how to pose Gerwalk correctly for most Valks, especially the VF-4.

    There is also the addition that the intake covers aren't shaped the same as the clavicle missile boxes on the 25, and they don't peg into the shoulder holes on the 19 either.

    Battroid doesn't have slender legs. They're pretty thick in all of the lineart, actually. Considering Yamato included swappable shields for anime accuracy in different modes would it be that bad if they included Canards of different lengths to swap for Anime Accuracy as well? There might even be a way to make the canards recess for one mode and pop back out for the other as well. I don't really see a big shift in Canard position but it does appear the nose/cockpit area deforms a bit in Battroid, however that might be to Arcadia's benefit as you could make the forward portion of the nose cone angle back a bit and that would give tons of space for the cockpit shield to be deployed. Intake shape has been compromised on every Valk ever made, there's little point in worrying about that.

    They don't need to be embedded. Look at the line art, the bumps are clearly visible in Fighter/Gerwalk.

    Not sure what you're talking about. The chest speakers are obviously domed units that flank the Cockpit in Fighter/Gerwalk. They're clearly visible.

    Anytime the SDF-1 gets 3D rendered someone invariably adds ridiculous, crater-ous panel lines that were never on the original.

    The 5000 does pretty much transform like the 11. I suppose more like a 11/19 hybrid really.

    Damn, I kinda wish I had bought two now. I want a second one in permanent Battroid because that head is wicked. I'm with you on that man, the canopy/crystals really needed to be a very subtle blue. Not... whatever bubblegum, cheap blue they managed to come up with.

    I'll have to see it in person but based on those review pictures I'd like the color to be a few shades darker.
